I like themes nowadays.  Nice job.
Thanks. My next theme is Donruss checklists. I love the artist Painted portraits of the players. I like any artist paimted sports card really.
A few mixed in here for examples for those who aren’t familiar:

I believe those are Perez Steele drawings if memory serves me right?

I don't care for the newer artist included cards.

I am not as familiar with the newer artist cards all that much. I’m sure I would be partial though. I do think the Living Sets for purchase through Topps on-line are beautiful. I would like to eventually collect all the Tiger players  in that series.

Edit: Also looking forward to learning about the artists who create the cards as I go.

I sent out a bunch of Diamond Kings in the 80s to the players and got a decent amount back signed.  I could only locate one right now.

Nice, it really is a good looking card. Mattingly held that record until just a couple years ago I believe.  I think in ‘21 it was broken by a player from Guardians. The 6(?) grand slams were the only ones of his 14(?) yr.  career. Pretty cool stat.

Some pretty nice stuff. I love the throwback Allen & Ginter cards. Some other pieces that stuck out to me are the Yankees team piece, the Mets team piece, the Reggie Bush, and I really liked the Babe Ruth one with the dark blue background. They’re all really pretty though.

Edit: Love the Ernie Banks rookie piece as well. That is a beautiful card and I want a graded OG bad.

I picked this up about a year or two ago. Author opens a pack of '86 'Topps and sets out to find all the players in the pack and hang out with them for a day. Quite interesting & fun read. Cool to get some stories & insights from some lesser known players of that era.

Hello Dyer! Good to see you!
My 1959 Willie Mays JUST showed up in the mail, and it looks awesome.
One day, in the near future, I am going to figure out how to post pics here(I used to know, about 10 years ago) and I will post some pics of my vintage collection.
    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
