While I’m no fan of profit oriented healthcare, making money is the system we live in, so it’s more about AW’s bias around the vaccine. Chrysler made a car that explodes and ignored the fix because it was considered too expensive. Does AW not get into cars? The bias translates to grasping at things to try and confirm that the lack of trust is justified. Like calling Moderna “big pharma” to make it sound scary but not looking at the company’s history.static111 said:

It's fun that people take all the reports about severe vaccine reactions at face value as if there aren't anti vaxx bad faith actors out there playing it up.
That's not to say there aren't people having bad reactions, but it's absolutely being played up.

The CNN article states the obvious regarding vaccinations and despite the lack of transparency, the members of the review panel wouldn’t have changed their decision if presented the information sooner. Trying to use that as some evidence of a conspiracy is “grasping,” IMHO.AW124797 said:

My question brings up the shift around what is considered an infection. Pre-Covid, people had the seasonal flu but were asymptomatic, and you weren’t considered sick because there wasn’t testing mania. I listened to this Jon Stewart podcast during my commute this week, called "A nuanced discussion about Covid vaccines." They discussed at length the way people who ask questions are vilified simply for asking questions. I remember being vilified here in the earliest weeks of the pandemic, and it turns out I was wrong about some things and I'm okay with being wrong. But one thing I'll never regret is staying open and curious and asking questions.
