I'm getting my booster next week.  Should I expect more or less symptoms from my second regular dose?  I had about 12 hours of fatigue, aches and a mild fever.

I didn't end up getting/scheduling my booster. I realized it's not recommended until much longer after my second dose, and my wife only got it for crossing the border issues (we have a mix of AZ and Pfizer, and she was paranoid the US didn't recognize AZ as a first dose, which they now do).

I haven't had a booster yet. The few people I have talked to who have had a booster said that the booster symptoms were worse than the other two shots they have had. However, I would assume that just like the other shots, there is a variety of outcomes. For example, my sister got really sick from her second shot, and I barely had any symptoms besides a sore arm. So, it is a crapshoot. But just be prepared. Maybe take the day off work, set yourself up with a good movie to watch, etc.

I got the booster 6 weeks ago. Pfizer. Same side effects as the 2nd shot, tired and a headache. Sore arm too of course.

Canadians have the old travel advisories back, ie: unessential travel categorized by risk again, rather than a blanket do not travel advisory.

French pharmaceutical company Valneva has released promising phase 3 trial data on their more traditional inactivated whole virus vaccine. If this does pan out and gets licensed then it would provide an option for those who say that their objection is to novel vaccine formats and not vaccination per se.

It's against my sincerely held religious beliefs to put anything foreign into my body (other than Budweiser of course).  So no thanks.  Keep your hippie, devil medicine.
