    Answer:

    A lieutenant colonel can make just under $10,000 per month in retirement. This calculation is determined by multiplying the years of service (to retire at this ranking it must be at least 20 years) by 2-2.5% of the colonel's final basic pay rate. Their ranking fits into the 0-5 pay grade scale, and their basic monthly pay ranges from $5,778.00-$9,816.60, depending on their total number of years in the service.     My work is making it mandatory to disclose your vaccination status. If you choose not to say you are deemed unvaccinated. Anyone that is unvaccinated, on their own time, has to get tested 3 times a week or they are not allowed to come to work. I do shift work so its a 5 on 5 off kind of schedule. Workers that have to get tested and are not working that day have to go to work and get tested anyways. Some people I know live an hour or more away from work. This is a huge deal right now for them and yet they are still not budging on getting the vaccine. Some are even thinking the next step is they are going to be let go. And again they have no intention of getting it. Amazing how deep some of these people are with not getting the vaccine.

    The OSHA rule is having it's effect.  Companies are now beginning to start the process of requiring vaccination or weekly testing (on their own time and dime) of employees and contractors.  For larger companies you will see this in place in November.

    Will November be too late? CNN has an article up that this maybe the last major wave for the virus. Not many people have been right yet with how these things are going to unfold but lets say it is the last major wave what happens to all of these vaccine mandates? Stays in affect for how long?

    they say it will be the last major wave of the pandemic, but this will remain endemic, so I think, to prevent subsequent waves in the future, these mandates will be here for some time, if not for good.

    honestly, me neither. I think I've heard this more than once about this "being the last wave". I guess they are seeing some evidence of delta tapering off, or at least plateauing a bit, with no new variants of concern in a bit, so maybe that's why? I'm not sure.

    All along they say "follow the science".  Now the CDC director overrules her own advisers so the policy aligns with what the Biden administration had already taken a hard stance on.  Interesting.  And no, I'm not an anti-vaxxer.  Got vaxxed as soon as I was able to.  The hypocrisy that exists on both sides is just disgusting.
