You call people "pro abortion" and nothing could be further from the truth. I wish they were not necessary but that isn't realistic.
I'm always amazed that people in the GOP (the "small government" party) are always willing to have the government get between a female and her doctor.0 -

and let's be real: if men were the ones who carried fetuses, this would NOT even be up for debate.
And I assume (though I admit, I have not read the law) that this will hit lower-income people the hardest. I assume the wealthy can just go to a friendlier state after six weeks, right? (In fact, I'd assume that's part of the design because you know these fucking hypocrites want doors open in case their family members need to take care of something...)
There's just no tragedy to a fetus dying when it's the mother's decision. And whatever retort you may have is flimsy (what if she regrets it? Well that's her decision. What about the father? Still her decision and maybe he should keep it in his pants if he's not ready for what might come next, you know, just like conservatives telling women to close their legs).

I'm always amazed that people in the GOP (the "small government" party) are always willing to have the government get between a female and her doctor.I can’t go back in time and change the narrative. Pro-abortion is just where we are in the terminology these days. I don’t like pro-choice, because it oversimplifies it and turns it into a positive. It just is what it is now. It’s preservation of life that I am after. The fetus may rely on the mother, but again, fully grown people rely on meds, devices and others to survive as well.By The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0 -

Perhaps I meet your definition of pro-abortion. To be frank, I don't care if people do use it that way. It's not a great idea for financial and physical reasons. Using effective birth control is a lot smarter. If someone's had three abortions, they're probably not doing a very good job. I don't think that's a good lifestyle but I also don't think being obese is a good lifestyle...and I'm not going to lose sleep over someone I don't know doing either.
I do think measures to reduce abortions should be prevalent; education, birth control, firing self-righteous pharm techs that won't hand out the morning-after pill, etc. In general, I'd rather see fewer, but I'm not really "against" them. Does that mean I'm "for" them? I don't care if you stick me with that label.1995 Milwaukee 1998 Alpine, Alpine 2003 Albany, Boston, Boston, Boston 2004 Boston, Boston 2006 Hartford, St. Paul (Petty), St. Paul (Petty) 2011 Alpine, Alpine

Abortions are used in jokes and joked about. Next time I come across this, I will be sure to post it in here. I would love to see the psychology behind knowing its an option and how that affects sexual behavior though. I will have to look into that.Like in school, if you had a test, but knew you could drop the grade after the fact, you may not take the test as seriously to begin with. So that’s more what I mean my simple. Not the actual procedure, but the mere fact an option exists after the fact.Pittsburgh 2013
