I’m sure you’ve all seen/heard this and it’s not pushing any religion just a cute joke….

“A religious man is on top of a roof during a great flood. A man comes by in a boat and says “get in, get in!” The religous man replies, ” no I have faith in God, he will grant me a miracle.”

Later the water is up to his waist and another boat comes by and the guy tells him to get in again. He responds that he has faith in god and god will give him a miracle. With the water at about chest high, another boat comes to rescue him, but he turns down the offer again cause “God willgrant him a miracle.”

With the water at chin high, a helicopter throws down a ladder and they tell him to get in, mumbling with the water in his mouth, he again turns down the request for help for the faith of God. He arrives at the gates of heaven with broken faith and says to Peter, I thought God would grand me a miracle and I have been let down.” St. Peter chuckles and responds, “I don’t know what you’re complaining about, we sent you three boats and a helicopter”

*Looking for the author will edit to include    when I find it.

*Appears there are lots of versions of “The drowning man” based off of a bible story.  Now I’m going to have to read all about this or it will drive me crazy

I believe it was Pat Robertson, of all people, who said that the vaccines are a miracle from God.

Some  young  people  dying  unvaccinated.  Sad really.  This is a terrible  virus indeed
So just read the Spanish flu was 1-2 years so I think we’ll beat that number.  The difference being that in 1918 (in the US) we took the vaccines without question.  This may be forever known as the stupidest US generations of all time. You guys are doing pretty well vaccine wise, but as long as the US isn’t doing it’s part (short of forbidding us to travel into others countries) it’s never going away.

and in 1918 didn't travel everywhere and go to huge concerts

At least they had the courage of their conviction to not get the vaccine, unlike the Tucker Carlsons of the world pushing vaccine resistance despite having got the vaccine themselves.

I think we all know by now that, while it makes for a good laugh, it's not just a livestock drug. it's used in humans all the time to treat parasites. But people are taking it in the wrong doses, because they are buying it without an Rx.

There is no body of scientific research that proves it prevents or cures covid. All that screeching about not trusting vaccines but promoting this drug for this virus is madness. Or stupidity. Or both.

yeah, both are true. the people claiming it treats covid AND those making it sound like people are ingesting medicine that is for animals exclusively.
