    I don't understand that either.  If I had to guess, I would say that it is because people like her are filled with hate.  They hate life, they hate people. and most of all they hate the natural world and want to see it destroyed.  If I am right about all that, then I would have to conclude that they are the epitome of evil. 
    I wouldn't say they hate life. they do believe this life is full of suffering and the end times brings about paradise for the believers. however, they still (to my knowledge) believe life is precious.

    Their own perhaps.  But life in general?  If they don't understand that it's all connected and they are OK with species dying? 
    If  they are religious and, like you say, believe paradise awaits them, then this world means nothing to them.  Many may even despise this world because they think there is some kind of heavenly pie in the sky awaiting them and this world is just a road block to their illusions.

    I'm not arguing the Holocaust museum isn't powerful.  It is.  But I didn't walk out thinking the Holocaust was way worse than I understood.  A woman her age should have understood the magnitude of the tragedy and the ruthlessness of it many, many years ago.

    MTG, Bobert, Gaetz, and Cawthorn are the first names I think of when thinking about how the line between conservative pundit and elected official has been blurred. There are plenty of others (including people like Rand Paul who have retroactively become that).  All these people do is own the libs and bitch about how "they" are taking away some abstract way of life. Honestly, given how long right-wing pundits have been screaming in outrage at everything the left/Dems do, I'm surprised it took this long. Starting with Rush Limbaugh, a growing portion of the right consumed less and less "news" and more and more "outrage." It took decades but now all a GOP candidate has to do is be outraged at something meaningless and they'll get elected if they're in the right district, or even state. The result is that the party's elected officials are essentially publicly-paid AM radio shock jocks.
