    I’m not sure what you mean. As a policy decision, yes, it leaves something to be desired, but as reality, it’s probably where we’re heading.

    not sure about that. I think it means your body can efficiently kill the virus once reinfected.

    The immune system is complex and multifaceted. It doesn’t generate a forcefield that prevents viral particles from approaching you; instead, it involves a number of different processes to deal with the virus when it’s in the body, both before and after it enters the cells. I would think we would all agree that if the immune response generated is robust enough that the individual doesn’t actually become ill, then the immunity is effective.

    I'm no expert, and I do not recall the source.  But the last I heard was that while anti-bodies do go away over time...that they are seeing the T cells in previously affected people remain increased...allowing more effective fighting off of any future exposure.  Still lots of time needed to truly understand.  But it was more hopeful than the data I had seen regarding anti-bodies

    Yeah.  So now my Q-following Facebook friends are parroting this 9,200 deaths figure that "the CDC quietly admitted to."  As far as I can tell, I could never be a part of that statistic, though. I have asthma and the new Trump CDC way of tallying would blame the asthma I've lived with my whole life, not the Covid I caught last month.
