The Man Who Killed Hitler and Bigfoot. It was alright...strange and interesting but we expected it to be, based on the title. Larry Miller was.a nice surprise.

I had such a thing for Sam Elliott in his Lifeguard days. He’s become a really good actor; intense eyes.

    Double Indemnity (1944)

It’s always so weird to see Fred MacMurray as a bad guy.  In my mind he’s the father from reruns of My Three Sons and the Absent Minded Professor.

One of our movie theaters had it playing for it’s ten-year anniversary.

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I’ll fallen asleep trying to watch that movie so many times. I finally gave up. It just has a weird soporific effect on me.

I know right?!?!  I remember going to the theater and seeing it when it first came out.

"Slightly bored throughout, except for when Kenneth Branagh or that SAAB was on screen."

Nolan never does enough fun with his "filmschool smart" concepts.

It's just an actionmovie. Without much creativity. Even though it is all about its clever creative premiss. Enjoyed the score though,

I watched A Clockwork Orange for the first time this weekend.  Amazing film and one I'll probably watch for a second time very soon here.

I watched that movie for the first time with my dad when I was in high school. It ended up being one of those embarrassing movies to watch with your parents. But I loved the movie.

I'm due for a re-watch...need to be in the right state of mind though.

And speaking of embarrassing!  The cigar place I used to frequent was owned by an Armenian family - grandfather, son, grandson.  Nice folks; we always chitchatted.  One day while waiting in line, I heard the distinct sounds of sex coming from the film on their TV behind me.  I looked, and some chick was taking it HARD from behind.  Excellent camera angle and crisp, clear sound.

    Just a tad awkward.

Definitely a movie you need to be in a certain frame of mind to watch.

Yeah, not necessarily the Friday night family movie that everyone gathers to watch. My wife isn’t into those kind of movies and she walked downstairs and looked at me like I was nuts.

Even today when I visit my parents my dad and I like to watch movies. I still squirm if an explicit sex scene comes on. Watching a few episode of Game of Thrones with him was brutal 😂😊
