So, zero expectations for this, but I do love Lupita N’Yongo, and Joseph Quinn is great in Stranger Things, but this surpassed my expectations.

I was surprised how emotional the story was, and while there were some summer movie set piece moments, there were some other beautifully shot scenes that were unexpected. I didn’t know the character arcs coming in, and since the characters were new, I was unsure what might happen.

Seeing that the director did Pig (a movie that seems crazy on paper, but really works) it makes more sense that this movie is the way it is.

If you are on the fence, I say go.
Saw this yesterday. Not what I was expecting either, but enjoyed it. Now I want a therapy cat 😻

This is what happens when Pearl Jam fans let Kevin down

You beat me to posting this.

    “Kevin, come back, I can change, I’ll show you . . . I love you . . .”

We’ve definitely let Kevin down. Maybe I should organize a local viewing party to help his bottom line.

It did say that a theatrical run was not out of the picture, but definitely postponed.

Did I get it? Normally I would guess Cliffhanger, but you mentioned wanting to watch a James Bond/mountain climbing Eastwood movie.

I watched that movie probably 40 years ago? My dad showed it to me at home on TBS or maybe VHS.

All I can remember is the car chase in the desert. Eastwood pulls a funny trick with his headlights.

Let us know how it is!

It’s scary, but it may depend on what type of horror movies you are in to watching. Definitely a serial killer, horror movie, but the vibe is understated dread and a bit art house horror.

Don’t expect the second coming of Lambs, Se7en, or Zodiac. It’s a different kind of movie.

It’s definitely a great movie, enjoyed it. Cage does not disappoint and Maika Monroe is always the shit.

Wow what a beautiful film, how it eluded me for all these years…. Seeing cruelty thru a child’s eyes puts things into perspective
