Inspired by David Baldacci's novel, and the ruthlessness of people in power. President Alan Richmond believes that everything he does is beyond reproach, including an affair or two. That leads to murder and everyone around him is involved. There is only one witness, a thief named Luther Whitney. They are sure he'll talk, but when? The Secret Service is determined to keep him quiet, but catching a thief isn't always easy.

This was good! An oldy but a goody 7.5/10.

Casino Royale on 35mm in Barcelona. Surprised to not see any Pearl Jam fans here with Chris Cornell singing. But I guess they are not real fans.

It's more psychological than horror or action.. focus on humans and how they react on a bad situation..5/10

I did show my son The Untouchables. Field of Dreams and Open Range are on the list! But I won’t stoop to For the Love of the Game (even though Sam Raimi directed!).

So, zero expectations for this, but I do love Lupita N’Yongo, and Joseph Quinn is great in Stranger Things, but this surpassed my expectations.

I was surprised how emotional the story was, and while there were some summer movie set piece moments, there were some other beautifully shot scenes that were unexpected. I didn’t know the character arcs coming in, and since the characters were new, I was unsure what might happen.

Seeing that the director did Pig (a movie that seems crazy on paper, but really works) it makes more sense that this movie is the way it is.

If you are on the fence, I say go.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The sequel trilogy has been on TV lately.

TFA was good/fan-service. TLJ was interesting but meh. ROS was awful.

I'm way behind on the SW universe. Didn't finish Boba Fett, didn't watch Mando 3, Andor, Ahsoka, or The Acolyte.
