    Listen, I’m around Trumpers nearly 100% irl. There’s a fucking billboard a mile from my house that has orange guys head on Ric Flairs body. I see and hear the dumb shit they push on a daily basis on my FB feed. You know who digs their hills in just as fiercely? 

    The moral superiority on both sides is disgusting. 

    Clearly Trump fucked this up. No amount of excuses from the ever revolving door will change that. Nobody here denies that. But how many times does the shit need repeated?

    I rarely post on any threads here, but I feel compelled to state that I think anyone questioning what standing another user has to comment probably needs to step away from the keyboard for a while. The coronavirus should also be a non-political issue, in my opinion. At times like this we should all try to give each other some extra leeway and not get mired in back-biting. I hope that everyone stays safe today and going forward.

    Someone says, "they aren't the same, Democrats are better, here's the evidence" and Nick and dewie come running to twist the words into "Democrats are perfect" so they don't have to admit that they are wrong, the parties are not the same.

    I'm saying that if someone has only been reading what people have posted the last couple of weeks, then they shouldn't be making a judgement of what posters "always" say, because it's not accurate. People complaining that posters never say anything negative about Dems based on reading two weeks of posts about the current situation is ridiculous.

    I don't think it's out of line to call out a poster who is mischaracterizing other posters' opinions and stances based off a tiny sample of their posting history.  Everyone who's been here for a few years knows that "I’ve never seen or heard any complaint here about anything on the left." is absolutely false, and it's a bit ridiculous for someone new to posting to state it as fact.
