We have open borders in Canada to US, but Canada is closing our borders to ALL foreign nationals. US can enter for now, as can diplomats and Canadian citizen's families.

Weird this doesn't show up here until now.

This has been news here in Sweden.

    Sympathetic behaviour by Trump.

Never thought I’d hear someone refer to Big Bear as one of “the great ones”

I was just talking in generalities.  Most of those ski resorts are first-rate.  I don't ski any more but at one time or another I've done most of them and they truly are fine places for skiing.

I know, was mostly kidding. Grew up in LA until I was 30. My parents had a cabin in BB we’d go to about 10-15 times a year. That was really all I knew until I moved to Colorado 8 years ago. Now BB seems almost like a joke compared to out here. And I do fear for these communities a lot more. Big Bear can survive without skiing for a season, not sure how some of these communities will do.

The very next sentence should be included (by the editor of the story and also for context in this post)  as it makes the headline 99% less evil ...

"We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Points of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself."

    KIRKWOOD!

Anyone that was in Aspen, Eagle, Summit (all CO) are being told to self-isolate.  Looks like that will be an epicenter.

Exactly, essentially “go get them on your own if it’s faster”.  Not “get them on your own because we will not give you any” as inferred by the headline.

    Agreed, misleading.

Has Trump activated the military hospitals and their enormous capabilities yet?  If not, why not?

What does taking things out of context to try and make someone’s actions appear evil make you?  I would say...”evil”.  Maybe read up on what was actually meant by the “get it yourselves” statement?

Colorado must have some incredible skiing!   How cool that you can ski there.  Are your ski resorts closing as well?

Over in the middle east and EVRYONE was wearing a kifiyah, it's their headwraps.  They were used out of necessity from dust and protection from the sun.  They have an absolute time and place but a woman is forced to wear her headpiece...

And unless it’s an N95 version, it is useless in regards to preventing COVID-19, :)
