    Wait... There's a food thread?!

at the grocery store today they were completely out of pasta, red sauce, and ground beef.  It was at that point I realized nobody knows how to cook anymore.

I bought a corned beef, Swiss cheese, a loaf of pumpernickel, and some sauerkraut. Going to make a monster sandwich tomorrow.
At my grocery store today they only things they were out of were tp and flour. Flour? Is everyone going to take up baking in their spare time?

I don't understand why people don't have flour at home. That's like basic stock.

Flour, sugar, and other basics for the kitchen should always be on hand, with an extra supply.

    I'm a home gym guy.

In my basement I have adjustable dumbbells up to 95 lbs, bands, pull up/chin up bar, padded gym floor, adjustable bench, mounted corner tv, sonos/spotify, other workout accessories.

You couldn't pay me to go to a gym.  I can get out of bed and get a great workout done in 30 mins and still be home.  No commute time, no idiots, no smell, no monthly fee, no contracts.

My god...your home gym sounds better than the gym I pay to go to!

My dad's hairdresser told him America started the coronavirus in China in order to take them out but it backfired by spreading around the world. What do you think about that theory?

I think we should stop accepting epidemiology theories from hairdressers. There's enough garbage to sift through that we should absolutely stop sharing information, unless we're sharing information from qualified sources - especially when there's racist or nationalist rhetoric embedded in the info. The fact is: regardless of how this started, we're here. Now. Getting through it is what matters.

I've seen this theory shared around Facebook too. That it was a biological attack by the USA to cripple China as they are a growing superpower.

I think it’s true! If you wanna take out China, definitely use a virus with a 1% death rate. Subtle. It’s brilliant.

I also read that Bill Gates made it and released it because he already has the vaccine to sell everybody.  Lol
