Not a bad tune but i have a feeling that DOTC and SBWM are definitely not the most radio friendly tunes on the album.  Is this PJ being typical PJ or are they singles because they’re two of the shortest tunes?

Idc either way.  Part of me likes when they release singles that confuse people.  Anytime u can confuse social media that’s probably a win
  • DOTC, in my humble opinion, is their best single in 20 years. This one like Supersonic on Backspacer - head bumping enough, but not something that'll have replay for me. DOTC I have been playing absolutely nonstop.

I think Ed is going to forget half the lyrics live. There are a ton of words in this song! I like it but it just feels a little jumbled to me. Liked Dance much more right off the bat.

reminds me a bit of their version of Draw the Line from Fenway.  Also some Supersonic.  Like Clairvoyants more but like it.
  • Overall, I like it, but seems a little too wordy for me (seems to be a common sentiment here).  Can't wait to hear the rest of the album!

After DOTC, this sounds like more of the same. Sounds like any filler song from off of the last three albums. Best parts are the solo and the riff directly after that.

Probably will be a grower for me.

Catchy enough jam. After 4 or 5 listens I am bobbing my head along. Pretty much only words I can figure out are "superblood wolfmoon."  I think the solo is pretty cool and not too long.

If they can make this one great live it could be great..otherwise I would go with pretty good
  • Not bad - was just thinking that if this had been the first single instead of DOTC that I’d be getting ready for LB, part 2

I think he might have flubbed half the lyrics in the studio lol

I like the song though. Think it'll be fun live.

Its gonna be great live! Can imagine the band all joining in on the La La La part and the shouts, McCready coming up with more crazy versions of the solo. Its pretty fun. Lyrics are good too, the stuff about making yourself a prisoner and all that bit is top Vedder stuff. The way he strings "But the world got to spinning, always felt like it was ending in love" is probably may fav bit (along with the La La La bit).

Also I think the words are:

Both my eyes are swollen, my face is broken,
And I’m hoping that I hurt ya... hoping that I hurt ya... hoping that I hurt ya fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiist!
    Nature drunk and High
  • Catchy Riff.
A bit schizophrenic with some of the elements of the song... kinda all over the place.
    Agreed on the wordiness.

Wish they had done a bit more with the riff, as it's strong as hell. Maybe it'll grow on me, but this song is a shell of DOTC, IMO.

People!  You're killing me.  Superblood Wolfmoon is not the title of the song!
It's the damn software company behind the lens for facebook/instagram!
Spark AR Studio also uses this name with regards to the billboards they throw up for Nike shoe releases.

There is nothing standard about this song. They knocked it so far out of the park that I’m pretty sure it’s out of this world 😉 They're changing how rock and roll sounds and I love it. Way to go, boys!! It sounds like 7 years worth of thoughtful concentration and focus. Amazing work. Amazing band. As always.
