the moderators bear responsibility in this situation.  Asking bad questions.. "Why do you think you're qualified to be commander in chief?" Yawn.  Did my 11 year old write that?  The NPR debate was good because they asked better questions.

    Wow- that's pretty sad!

I don't think it is, but geez...maybe I need to tone down my scrolling through Twitter, but given how thin the margin can be in swing states, I feel like angry supporters of primary losers are going to stay home (except for those that vote Trump out of spite). The question is, can the party unite behind the eventual winner like it did for the most part (minus a few Hillary supporters) behind Obama?  I envision high-fives among Bernie supports in 2016 when Trump won...and I'm concerned they'll be doing it again this fall.

Am I reading this right?  Are you saying you think Bernie supporters were glad Trump won?  I doubt it!

Yes, I hope the party unites under one dem and show up to vote.  Anyone who stays home on election day should____________. (Fill in the blank!)

Yeah good point.  Funny that you failed to mention the violence against women act, hate crimes, sex crimes and other liberal priorities that were in the same act.  But I guess if you were a senator you would have been able to pass such a bill without any compromises, so good for you.
Warren's artificial box of 30 years was stupid, arbitrary and designed to drop a zinger.  Someone should have said "yeah, but Liz, you're the only one here that was a Republican in the last 30 years".
Man that would have been such a great comeback.

And that would have been a good response if Bernie had called her out. I don't know what she'd say to the rest of them though.

Sanders did call her a liar. But since he apparently doesn’t respect women it’s not a surprise. Dude has the same populist message as trump just in the far left side. Bernie wasn’t to be a dictator just as bad as trump. I hope warren kicks his ass down a set of stairs

Just because Trump is a big (yuge) embarrassing piece of shit stain on your side, doesn't mean you have to reach all you can to fabricate an equivalence on the less shitty side.

It was petty. Not every Sanders flaw needs to be sugar-coated, just like not every non-Sanders flaw needs to be embellished.
I don't think "petty" is the right word to use here. But I do agree with the rest.

Funny you choose to use the word "compromises" regarding it.

I’m giving serious consideration to Bloomberg. I’m hoping he will be in next debate, I haven’t seen the qualifications yet.

I don’t think he wants to be a dictator.  I think an understanding and appreciation for what the country is built on (ie, not for the president to be a dictator) is a key difference.  That said, there is some Trump in him...some “us against the world” crap.  Populist?  Yeah; he’s getting there.

You don't understand the point of the speech nor the rampant criminality of the times.  The speech was designed to peel off some conservative Republicans that didn't believe the bill was tough enough.  Clearly it was hyperbole and sarcasm.  We've already talked about the racist CBC and African-American community leaders that fully supported this bill.  In fact, we've had this discussion at length months ago, when the 'progressives' were taking their shot at Biden.  That failed.

    I don't know. I've never voted for and rooted for a Death Penalty-touter. Didn't happen when I voted in 2018. Pretty sure I won't be a "Death-Penalty-touter"-touter in 2022 either.
