    Haven't seen Hollywood yet, have Hateful Eight queued up and ready to go on Netflix, have only seen parts of Jackie Brown (not enough to rank it), and I've never even heard of Death Proof.  
    Death proof was the other half of the Grindhouse release.  One movie was Planet Terror by Robert Rodriguez and QT put up Death proof.

    I thought Planet Terror was awesome.

    Ah yes that's right. I vaguely remember hearing about it at the time. But I'm not that into horror movies so I let it pass I guess.

    I think Jackie Brown benefits from being based on (awesome!) source material. QT was quite reverential in his treatment (as he should be), and he didn't go too crazy with inserting his preoccupations in it. I mean, the film definitely has his stamp on it, but it's not overbearingly QT.

    Continued my Tarrantino binge last night with Django. Haven't seen it since it first came out. Great film. Waltz deserved his Oscar for sure, but I'm surprised Foxx, Leo, and Jackson weren't nominated as well. You'd think one of them, especially Foxx. Oh well.
