    • S_C still wants her friendship, so she must be worth keeping around.
    • We're only getting one side of the story, no offense S_C.
    • Maybe she just needs a little time to process looking at him in a new light.

    Oh I know you weren't doing that. I wasn't trying to insinuate that you were. I was trying to shift focus back to the original subject in a general (not pointed) way, but one needs to have good communication skills to pull that off(so I was screwed from the start).
