So Dunk you gonna try for KoL tickets on Friday? Think I will but would have preferred tickets to their Hammersmith Apollo gigs :(

Must admit I'm tempted but also tempted by Decemberists & hopefully White Stripes will be touring... and Thin Lizzy and trying to cut down on spending... oh dear :(

i'm really holding out for White Stripes shows as well... i've read that Jack wants to do a mini scottish tour in unusual places to identify with his roots and stuff... so if they did 3 or 4 wee shows around here i'd be happier than byrnzie in a tweed jacket shop
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

That sounds cool, yeah they are top of my list, KoL and Decemberists very very tempting though & Decemberists is in same venue as we saw Modest Mouse on Sunday which is nice and small  :o

Yeah I've heard good things ... apparently Zane Lowe played some of their stuff and told people to download the album aswell ... if we hadn't had to watch 'em the music seemed good ... will need to get round to listening to the album :o:p

Yeah... the "performance" certainly detracted from the music for me... :o

and there was at least one track on the album that sounded better than most of the stuff they played on the night...

    page 2?!??!?!

aanyway. we had this employees coffee moment thingie today at work (the school one) as there are only 2 days left before the hols..

and as we were all saying nice things and the headmaster gave a teeny weeny speech and thanked me for being "irreplaceable" and a huge help I only then realised that I'm gonna have to say bye-byes to the kids and the teachers on Sat. :( not happy about it at all.

    so, I might cry.

ah well, but then's my sis' graduation party thingie (the same kind that I had a year ago, if yous can still remember..) which is a good thing. and she's got a good chance in getting to the school she wants to go to and that's brilliant too. but at the same time it's sad.

and I'm gonna have to really figure out what I wanna do after the summer cause I really gotta move out ASAP cause my older littlebro really needs his own room soon.

and.. argh, growing up sucks. :o:p

ok, I think that's it for now. :D

Hey all thanks for the well wiahes :o

I'm not supposed to be on the comp...naughty al but I thought I'd pop by to say that early indications are that the surgery was successful. My eyes are a bit dry today but nothing I can't handle. There has been absolutely no pain at all. Its really weird, they put an anistethic (sp) in your eye and then he starts scraping away the lining at the front of your eye. You can see it happening but can't feel a thing. Then you have to watch this red flashing dot for 30 secs and your done. Then he scrapes the lining back....next eye. 15 mins I was in the chair for. No tv, teletext, computer or driving for a few days.....broke a few of those already  Right gotta go put me drops in

Anyway hope all is well with you all, em's :( for you!

    Keep it real homies :p
    I need a coffee!

Yep. Growing up sucks. Which is why I never have. :)

After the summer you should move to Ingleland for a wee bit.
