Love Monuments. I like it better than Mellon Collie. I never could get into that one or anything between it and Monuments.FR181798 said:I've got the new WPC - Billy Corgan LP on preorder so gave Monuments a spin today, it's really grown on me, a pretty decent Pumpkins LP, could be my favourite since Mellon Collie.0 -
I asked this before and got crickets:
Does anyone listen to James Brown? What pressings do u have that you like?

Judging by the songs he has been playing and streaming online, this new tour could be something REALLY great.I have great tix for the Nashville show.
Hope we get to hear a lot of deep cuts. (Tristessa, Blue, Whir, Plume, etc.)

James Brown and His Famous Flames Live at the Apollo has been on my want list for awhile. What pressing I end up with will depend on cost but when I get around to it, I'll let you know. It's a "must have" that somehow keeps slipping through the cracks.tempo_n_groove said:I asked this before and got crickets:

From what I've seen in record stores there is are pressings with a label King records. Are they legit?
The one I really want is Jungle Groove.0 -
One of these days I'll pick this up and let you know how it sounds:tempo_n_groove said:

A very cool score today- Ernest Tubb Sings Hank Williams. It's in excellent shape, both vinyl and cover, and get this- 10 cents!
Tubb had one of those voices that was always a bit off but ripe with character and you knew he loved to sing. And his band, The Texas Troubadours are so fine on this one-- oh man!
And it's in great shape. Thank you vinyl gods!
