Your point is generally correct. I wasn't a Romney hater. I didn't like his social policies by and large, but that's a product of being tied to the base. I do hope that Democrats get a little more perspective after this douche bag. The problem is... who's next? Kasich? Great. Cruz? No thanks.BS44325 said:
Oh? Is Romney sensible now? The same Romney who the 80's called and asked for their foreign policy back? The same Romney with the binders full of women? The one with the dog on his roof? The one who gave a woman cancer? I love how every GOP candidate is "sensible" except when they are the actual candidate. This line I definitely am not buying. If John Kasich was the candidate you would all be calling him Hitler right now just like evey GOP candidate since the end of WWII.ledvedderman said:I think the Obama coalition will hold true on Election Day. I think that's only true though because of how poor of a candidate the Republicans chose in Donald Trump- especially against a weak candidate like Hillary Clinton.
I think the more moderate members of the Obama voters who are staying with Clinton could have been swayed to a sensible GOP candidate. If this were Clinton/Romney...the big swing that we typically see after 8 years of one party in the White House would probably take place. This year though with these candidates? I just don't see that happening.0 -
I'll float a name for who is next. George Bush. George P. Bush.0
-
Well I can't speak for you per se but everybody else on here would be saying how he was responsible for tanking Lehman Brothers and directly caused the 2008 market collapse. They would also be saying that he's a racist Hitler.ledvedderman said:Ok, ok. Instead of saying "sensible" about how other candidates would win this election, I'll just say "anyone other than this fucking nut".
And I absolutely would have considered voting for Kasich. Absolutely.0 -
You know your trying to talk sense to someone who just a few posts ago said that Trump has "allegedly" said sexist things right?mrussel1 said:

I like Kasich. Kasich beat Trump in Manhattan. If he was the candidate Hillary would be in big trouble.BS44325 said:

I don't know if you can say that because while yes kasich might get more of the middle voters he might also lose some of the voters who trump has gotten.eddiec said:

.....but those voters Trump got all despise Hillary though. I think he would've gotten most of them as a vote "against" her in addition to gaining more of the middle people than Trump is going to get.fife said:

Isn't Stein a 9/11 nut? That's certainly a nationwide candidate capable of winning.0

A financial wizard who can bring executive magic to government?
Despite his towering properties, Mr. Trump has a record rife with bankruptcies and sketchy ventures like Trump University, which authorities are investigating after numerous complaints of fraud. His name has been chiseled off his failed casinos in Atlantic City.
Mr. Trump’s brazen refusal to disclose his tax returns — as Mrs. Clinton and other nominees for decades have done — should sharpen voter wariness of his business and charitable operations. Disclosure would undoubtedly raise numerous red flags; the public record already indicates that in at least some years he made full use of available loopholes and paid no taxes.
Mr. Trump has been opaque about his questionable global investments in Russia and elsewhere, which could present conflicts of interest as president, particularly if his business interests are left in the hands of his children, as he intends. Investigations have found self-dealing. He notably tapped $258,000 in donors’ money from his charitable foundation to settle lawsuits involving his for-profit businesses, according to The Washington Post.

Trump should ask Hillary if she paid for the white house furniture she took 15 years ago!0

He seems like his blood pressure is rising. Getting upset, just a bit when she was going after his business. She was a bit flustered on NAFTA.Jearlpam0925 said:Jesus Christ.
