Hillary won more votes for President

If Trump has nothing to hide, why not release his tax returns? More likely they show that he paid zero in taxes. Which, while not illegal, certainly doesn't make him much of a man of the people.
The fact that no one from Wall Street who attended any of the speeches has come forward or released what Hillary said or that no cell phone recording of these speeches has surfaced should tell you that there is no there there. But then again, I just made $0.06. You don't think her speeches are significant? You don't think it gives insight to her character and how she might govern? We all know what happened a few years ago because of all this deregulation of Wall St. Will she do the same? Did she promise anything like that during her speeches? I don't know, do you?Gern Blansten said:

This has to be the worst election ever. Clinton forgets that many of us wanted to see her speeches to Wall St. because we thought she "has" something to hide. It was such a big deal at the time, yet she has the audacity to make that statement. The irony.
Before you guys get your panties in a bundle, the IRS has been auditing Trump for decades, if there was anything terrible in his documents I'm sure it would be news.
For the record, I am in no way trying to defend that garbage (Trump).
What IS public is that his foundation was fined by the IRS for making an illegal political contribution.
Clinton gave speeches....so what? Interview the people that attended the speeches and start a parade. What information do you really think would be in those speeches?
What ever it might be, it was/is clearly important to the public. Maybe if she were more transparent she wouldn't be polling at nearly 70% untrustworthy. Don't you forget for a second that she's a politician. You can make excuses all you want, but that's the reality and that's also something that has concerned many voters.
Clinton is now trialing Trump in national polls- That's a shame, and again the only Losers are the American people.

I give more weight to what she says now....and what Trump says now. If she says she will govern a certain way and doesn't then the people won't vote her back in if they aren't happy.tonifig8 said:

How much were you paid?Halifax2TheMax said:Gern Blansten said:The FBI recently unearthed only one new email regarding the terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of State, according to a new report.
Government lawyers said in a court filing early Wednesday the message is the sole revelation from a trove of 30 recovered by the agency last month, Politico said.
Politico said the email is a flattering note sent by a veteran U.S. diplomat after Clinton testified on Benghazi before a Senate panel in 2013.
“I watched with great admiration as she dealt with a tough and personally painful issue in a fair, candid and determined manner,” then-U.S. Ambassador to Brazil Thomas Shannon wrote in a message to Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s then-chief of staff at State.
“I was especially impressed by her ability to turn aside the obvious efforts to politicize the events in Benghazi, reminding Americans of the tremendous sacrifice made by [then U.S. Ambassador to Libya] Chris Stevens and his colleagues but also insisting that our ability to play a positive role in the world and protect U.S. interests requires a willingness to take risks.”
Mills ultimately forwarded Shannon’s kind words to Clinton, who is now the Democratic presidential nominee.
Politico also said it is unclear why the email from Shannon was not produced in previous searches or among the roughly 30,000 emails Clinton’s lawyers deemed work-related and gave to State two years ago.
“In response to a Benghazi-related [Freedom of Information Act] request, after completing its review of the set of documents previously identified as potentially responsive, State has determined that there is one responsive document that is not a duplicate of the documents provided by former Secretary Clinton in December 2014 and that had not been previously provided to Judicial Watch in this case,” State spokesman Mark Toner said Wednesday.
“The email does not change the facts that have previously been made clear about the Benghazi attacks,” Toner added of the Sept. 11, 2012 incident that killed Stevens and three other Americans.
The FBI recovered about 30 Benghazi-related emails out of the 14,900 messages deleted from Clinton’s private email server.
Why is this significant? One thing to note is that the email was very positive....if Clinton was attempting to hide emails why wouldn't this one have been released to begin with?

Here's the great thing about the United States, RSS, esq... In this country we don't hold individuals accountable for the sins of their fathers. This was very much an enlightened perspective as historically, sons would be put to death for their father's sins. Further, we don't hold people accountable for the sins of their in-law's fathers. If we did, then we would care that Ivanka's husband's (Jared Kushner) father did a stint in the pen as well for corruption, intimidation, etc. http://heavy.com/news/2016/07/charles-kushner-jared-dad-ivanka-father-in-law-donald-trump-jail/
But we don't do that in this country. Because this is America. Sometimes I wonder if our citizens ever bother to read the Constitution, our history or even the Rules of Professional Conduct. Have you read that, rss, ESQ?Post edited by mrussel1 on0 -

I mentioned what her only son in law did for a living, because some sheep are trying to advance the notion that Hillary isn't bought and sold by Wall street. For g$^'s sake she took a quarter million for a twenty minute speech relaying to the very sinners themselves, that what the financial sector did to the US economy "wasn't all that bad." lmao

Regardless, I think it's interesting that Bill Clinton did not pardon the man, even though he was petitioned and it was within his Constitutional rights.
I don't have a problem with hedge fund managers. I don't have a problem with Wall Street. In fact, I don't even have a problem with lawyers, who were the whipping posts of the public for years before Wall Street took that over.0 -

He's a great asset to our community in a number of ways and a genuinely good person. I've had the pleasure of meeting him a few times, in the airport and at some downtown restaurants, He was very kind and pleasant to everyone. Some people don't like his politics (he's a liberal and Richmond metro is Republican) but no one can say anything bad about him personally.g under p said:

"Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves."
Andrew Jackson
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.” Marcus Tullius Cicero0
