You saw me?! Oh crap I probably looked like a mad man. I was looking out for you, Dunk, V, Chime, Byrnzie, Keith, anyone I recognised really. Didn't see any of you!

I learned there are probably pros and cons to being up there in the disabled seats - really bloody close, which was great, but it sounds like the sound would have been far less muddy further back.

Hey guys, newbie poster here, My second PJ gig on Monday night (first was at the MEN few years ago) and they rocked the house.. all my faves and some new ones.. I've been a fan since Ten, and Monday reminded me why...
Just need to find a bootleg of it now..

Perhaps Jon Fletcher should pay a little more attention to the concert he's reviewing. Though Fletcher states that there was not a single track from Pearl Jam's second LP Vs., the show concluded with that album's final track, Indifference. More than that, Fletcher completely missed the bigger pciture of this gig. The entire floor of 3,000 strong was sold only to fan club members from literally around the world, as well as Brits who had waited seven years for the band to return. These were the people Pearl Jam was playing to last night, not the people who have not picked up a Pearl Jam cd after Vs. Last night, Vedder and co. played one of their most unique setlists for a crowd that ate it up. Far from self-indulgent, last night was a thank you to the fans who have stuck with Pearl Jam through their 17 year history. Pearl Jam is one of the best live acts in the world and they maintain this by picking up on something that British bands (save Radiohead) don't get: The best way to build up a loyal following by keeping your setlists unique and unpredictable from one night to another. Keep them guessing, keep them excited. This was more than the case last night and the fans- be it from England, Croatia, Australia, Portugal, Italy or the USA- loved it.

If Fletcher wants a greatest hits parade, I suggest he stays at home and pops Ten on his stereo- or perhaps go see the Kaiser Chiefs.

Excellent show! was my second after Leeds last year.

One point that annoyed me as the stupid fucking 'dont gimmie no lip' sign that was held up infront of me, if i was just a foot further forwards i would have reached it and pulled it out of their hands. luckly after some people shouting at them they took the sign away.

other than that i loved this show, way better than leeds last year, at Leeds the crowd were too far away from the band and allot of people who wernt there to see PJ around.

What a brilliant gig, words fail me, thought I would pass out with ecstacy when they opened with Long Road.

I must be a bit of a wus though cos I had to get out of the pit during Comatose - I was in the centre about 6 rows back but I was spending so much energy on a) not be crushed b) keeping my feet on the ground, thought I'd better get out and enjoy it from a safer distance! I understand there will be moshing at a PJ concert but don't understand why people have to get pissed out of their brains and push like mad (I was in about the same position in Dublin and it was brilliant! - no hassle at all). My hubby followed me out and managed to lose a shoe! lmao (managed to get it back later when the show ended).

Anyway this didn't spoil what was the best show i've seen so far (my third). I just could not believe the set list Lowlight, I got Shit, FAITHFULL, GREEN DISEASE, DOWN, PRESENT TENSE to name a few of the songs that i have longed to hear. I sure i heard a muffled Ghost during soundcheck as well!

It was nice to see Belfast1 and Dave Brown who i met in the Q in Dublin last year as well - saw them again when looking for my hubby's shoe at the end!

GOD I HOPE THEY DO AN OFFICIAL BOOT!!

I did Leeds, it was my first PJ gig, and i thought i'd never see a better performance, i was wrong.

London rocked, setlist was amazing, eddie was on fire, need need need a bootleg.

I've been lookin round other sites & different bootlegs have appeared for the other recent european gigs, spain did an FM broadcast, there has been versions available for Portugal as well........ Anyone know if a London bootleg will happen?????

I thought the crowd was much better behaved than in Dublin....or at least they seemed to be from where we were. Wembley's set up was way better as they didn't have that second barrier so everyone who wanted to get forward could and those of us who like to stay out of it could without feeling the frustrations of those who were unable to get to the front.

and you're right....Ghost was soundchecked, along with Nothing As It Seems, Marker In The Sand and Parachutes
