I need this lottery to close already. I have spent the past half hour trying to figure out if it is viable for me to travel to the shows that still have 99% lottery odds.

I know this won't happen, but for the sake of understanding how this works... If I have my 1st choice as Tampa reserved and my 4th choice as Tampa GA, what if the GA drawing gets to the 4th round? Would I get the GA tickets or would I get the reserved since it's my first choice? Or do they do all 1st priorities for a show (GA and reserved) before moving on to the 2nd and 3rd? Make sense? My head is spinning, I can't wait until tomorrow!
They will fill the GA up first before Reserved so yes you could be selected. If you do not want GA do not put it anywheres on your list!
No, this is not correct.^^^^^
Several examples last time where people got GA even though they had Reserved ranked higher, so it does seem they pick all of GA first before doing Reserved for a show.

Isnt it cheaper to buy tickets however you need to at closer shows?
Good luck to everyone today, we know some of us will be happy and some of us will need to chase down other ways (public, secondary market, etc) to make sure we get to see this band that we love.

Hahaha! I know, right? I'm like, "Hampton is only six hours each way. I got that. And I can probably get a cheap flight to Ft Lauderdale. Just don't forget about Fenway. Plan smart."
Hahaha!!

At the end of the day they call it a lottery because it's outside of your control. Even if your show says 90% they're just going to pick away who gets tix and who doesn't. Random. Don't overthink it, it's random.
Advice to myself. And... I took a vacation day for Friday so I can spend the day obsessing over ticket master.
Good luck everyone!

It is. But for me, at that time of the year, it has as much to do with the timing of the shows. For example, I would love to hit Quebec City, which is a reasonable drive for me, but I can't take the days off with the mid-week show. I don't mind driving an extra couple of hours to guarantee me 10 Club tickets with my number (which is pretty good).

No, the reserved and GA drawings occur at the same time. Tampa GA priority one is picked at same time as Tampa reserved priority one.
If you say so...... END PJNB Quote
Why is that strange? You can only pick one priority so you can run both Tampa GA and Tampa reserved priority one drawings at one time.
Check out the FAQ from the website:
Q: How does the show priority selection factor in to the drawing? A: For each show we will randomly draw members who have made that show their #1 priority. If any tickets remain the system will randomly draw names of members who have chosen that show as their #2 priority, and so on until every ticket for a given show has been sold. Please keep in mind that not everyone can have their #1 priority. Priority rank is merely a consideration.
It does not say anything about GA or reserved drawings going first. What would be is putting in for one show and wanting reserved first and putting GA second just to make sure you got tickets and ending up with GA because they want to fill GA. Why ask for a preference then, or why not come out and say they fill up GA first?
Solution if they don't sell out their allotment of GA tickets = put the barrier between GA and seating closer to the stage and put in more floor tickets.
And if Ten Club does try to fill up GA first then they should come out and say that.
