The first show is on my birthday and I've never seen PJ on my bday. One of my best friends lives in Chicago and I was timing a visit for October so we could do the 4 hour drive to Detroit for a Red Wings game. Don't want to spend the money on heading out there twice... PJ or Red Wings..... probably comes down to whether or not I can score tickets.
Was there in 2013. On the field, the storms, the delay, the reboot, playing until 2:00am, Ernie Banks, what a night! Can't wait! Thanks Theo for bringing them back!!!

Keep an eye for when the tix go on sale. Last time it was lottery, so you might not win 1st choice. Be thankful whatever you win. All seats were reserved, but you won't know where your exact seat is until you pick them up at will call. I won Field seats and was about 30 row dead center. Your standing in the club, (the lower the number the better), will get you a better seat, but you have to win the lottery first and that is 1st come, 1st serve. Good luck, just don't take my seat!!!

I take the "all seats were reserved back". The was an area in front of the stage that was G.A. The field reserve seats were behind that. I was in that section.

Ribberton, to clarify..your standing in the club (i.e member number) won't matter in the lottery. If you win, then it matters. Sorry for the confusion.

Anybody think getting tickets to Wrigley will be any easier this time around?? I doubt it.
I'd guess it's going to be substantially easier. Last time, there were only two shows booked over the summer, it was announced before the 2013 tour was booked. This is two shows, not one, and part of a longer tour.

That's Chicago Air & Water Show Weekend, so its interesting they are taking off that Sunday.
Crap, really? I'm always exhausted after partying in the heat all day, I'm going to have to take a nap before the Saturday night show. (I'm getting too old for this $#!7)
For those who went to Wrigley last time, is it just an absolute shit show trying to get tickets to this or no?
It was an absolute shit show last time. I never got the opportunity/chance to buy tickets the day they went on sale because of the demand. The 2nd Wrigley show and the fact it's part of a longer tour might help that problem. We shall see!

Even Foo Fighters this past summer was a disaster. Too many corporate/season tickets and it was the only alt-rock show this summer. PJ needs to make the whole field GA like FF did but I don't see it happening. I wish they were playing UC.
