    I really don't understand the issue here. We want to take guns away from people who for whatever reason can't manage their own lives and need the government to do it for them. Sounds like a no brainer. This to me is no different that wanting to take drivers licenses away from people who go blind. The right to bear arms is not absolute. We do not allow felons to own guns for reasons we don't trust them anymore. I feel the same way for someone who is taking my tax dollars. If you have a real mental or physical issue that makes it to where you need my taxes then I don't trust you to own a gun.
