I wholeheartedly agree with this. Bans of any kind should be a last resort and no one should get perma-banned for a first offense. Godfather is willing to stick to his guns and take a beating - no matter how laughable some of us may find his positions - and for that he deserves respect.

They are steadily on the decline because all involved parties are on the same page in actively working to make them decrease, from the auto engineers to the city planners to the highway designers to the legislators, who have enacted things like seat belt laws. Think what we could accomplish on gun deaths if all parties would work together on it.
