    Led Zeppelin III
    2014 reissue

    image

Did you get the reissue deluxe or regular vinyl?
    just regular reissue
I'm waiting on 1 deluxe. I got that because of the live show. I get the standard for II & III.
that is a smart strategy, hope the live album is worth it

I received Lazaretto in the mail yesterday. What a very cool LP! I like the music a bit more than Blunderbuss, great album. Cannot wait for the show in July!

    image
Side 1 plays from the inside outwards, and has the hologram of an angel etched in. The angel turns around itself when the LP plays.
    image
Side 2 has the matte shine of an old schellack LP.

Nice. I ordered this too, think it arrived today but I was out and missed the post so gotta pick it up Monday. Kinda bought it for the novelty value of the 'gimmicks' if you like. Still not heard his first album!

You should pick it up. It's great.

Can't wait to get my Vault Lazaretto. Definitely the most unique vinyl I'll own. I hope it doesn't come back to bite him from a qc standpoint.

    Count Basie - Count Basie.

Released in 1969, in great condition and picked up for £6. Good to kick back and relax too.

I've got Lazaretto Vault coming tomorrow and snagged Zep I and II Deluxe's and STP's Purple yesterday. Also have Zep III whenever Amazon gets more stock.

First record buying mini binge I've had for awhile and the record store hooked me up with some Zep schwag....some coasters and a really sweet Zep III slipmat.

Also got Rich Robinson's new one last week...really good album and it's really cool looking. Sorta black/beige/white splatter tie dye thing.

You don't need to do this. You play the label.

Man Lazaretto sounds great. I was thinking I may have to add a standard copy, but I think the split color will suffice. Cool package overall too. Anybody having any luck seeing the angel?

The Zep reissues are monstrous, at least I and II. Every instrument sounds better, including vox. Love how they they juiced up the bass and somehow the drums are even better sounding. A lot of subtle vocal harmonies I've never heard really pop, too. Just an A+ job by Page and co, on music that I wasn't sure could be improved upon.

STP Purple is really nice sounding, but not on the level of the examples above.
