    I sent them an initial e-mail with my issues. I included my address in that original e-mail. Have yet to hear anything. Think they just might not be replying because I gave them my info up front? This is such a fuck of clusters. :fp:

    I did the same, and have not heard anything either. Keep us updated if they back to you and Ill do the same!

    My original email included pics, 10c order number, and my shipping address. They replied to my email letting me know it was received and they'd be sending me a new vinyl. Took a couple of days for the response. I'm sure they will be responding to your emails soon.

    I sent mine on Wednesday, and finally got that response. They're getting to them!

    Also for the record, I gave my address and said the local record store I bought it from, and that's all they needed from me. So if you got yours locally and it wouldn't play, looks like they're sending those people replacements too. Yay!

    People are going to get their replacements before I even get my originals!

    I bought a pair of LP's and a CD for a friend and only one of his records arrived. Of course it's mangled and I've sent an email. Not sure if I'll hear back seeing as He'a only received a third of my order so far. Hopefully that second LP is not garble hind and it's in proper condition.

    I emailed them Friday at 11:44am, got a reply today at 12:52pm from a Michael Staudt:
    As soon as we receive new stock, we will ship you out a new copy.

    My original email included the following:
    -Description of the defects
    -10C Product description (i.e. "Pearl Jam 10C Version Lightning Bolt vinyl LP")
    -10C Product # (i.e. "6371")
    -Order date
    -10C Order #
    -Shipping/billing (same for me)
    -Phone

    I also mentioned that 10C instructed us to contact them directly for a replacement. Hope this info helps others.

    I need a new jacket/sleeve too, along with a new vinyl-
    I'll be really annoyed if they just send me a vinyl, without responding if we are getting the a whole new package or not...
    Any word on that?

  • I wish I would have noticed this earlier. I emailed them this morning, but haven't got a reply yet. I bought mine at a record store about a week after it was released but I have no idea where the receipt is, probably in the garbage most likely or didn't even ask for one. Mine skips a couple times and has a good amount of hissing at the beginning of the record, so I don't know how I can prove that with a photo. Hopefully it just all works out. It's a bummer that releasing a new record has been such a disaster. Pearl Jam is the reason I started buying vinyl a couple years ago, it's a shame that they can't do a better job than this. 10 Club is really dropping the ball as an actual business, I honestly think. I'm not a long time member or anything but it's becoming really hard to justify spending the money each year. I hope it gets better.

    I recieved mine on the 23rd. same story, glue, pops, skips, badly warped, etc.
    emailed umusic that night WITH my name, address, phone number, 10club # and description of issue. got a reply today, 10/28/13:

    I will inform you all when i get the replacement and what shape its in when it arrives. so far everyone is doing all the right things.

    Don't worry. They just got flooded with e-mails. I e-mailed the first day we knew about it last Wednesday and I just got a reply today saying it will be shipping out next week.

  • THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!! My latest reply from UMG:

    Please provide us with pictures of the damages. Once we receive the pictures it will take several weeks for the replacement to be shipped.

    SEVERAL WEEKS!!!?!? I just got mine last Friday! So much for Pre Order!?! By the Way, preordered the Arcade Fire album "Reflektor", and received that today and release date is tomorrow!!!That's how this is supposed to work! Yet to be seen if their high quality and delicate packaging have produced defective vinyls....... Nice to know that I'll get my replacement PJ sometime in November.....probably have a nice 4-5 day layover again in Auburn, WA.

    "We have received your E-Mail and apologize for the inconvenience. A replacement vinyl will be sent to you early next week.
    Universal is only replacing the LP not the cover. If you need a new cover please contact 10 club.

    I bought mine at a record store, emailed Universal saying I bought at a record store with my address, and they replied they would send a replacement. I think you'll get good news (though I emailed last Wednesday and just received word today, so be patient).
