I saw mixed reviews at best on this movie, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that I liked it quite a bit. I found it pretty entertaining. What's with the ending though? Are there sequels to come? (I haven't read it (them?? Is it a series of books??), so am not sure if that was a set up for more, or just a weak ending).

The books are a trilogy and it looks like the movies are going to be released as a trilogy also. The next one, Catching Fire (i think) is coming out within the year I think.

Seriously, though. Read the books. They are really good. Better than the movie but I really liked the movie.
Oh my god read the books!! So much better than the movie and it will fill in some holes. Can't wait for the next movie which I heard is coming out in November.

    Hangover 3

Thought it was funny. It's a dumb comedy, not some art house movie you fuckin nutty critics. The reviews made me laugh, seriously what were they expecting from this franchise.

    I love cocaine ;)

I plan on reading the books, but not until after I've seen the movies. I can't stand movies that are worse than the book -it ruins the movie completely for me (even if the movie isn't bad). So i'm going to wait, and I'll enjoy the movies, and then also really enjoy the books. ;)

I don't quite vet what you mean... the first Hangover was amazing. The bad reviews don't come from the other two being silly comedies, because the first one was as well and everyone loves it. The bad reviews come from them not being nearly as good as the first one (Hangover II was literally the same movie as the first one, for example - that alone made that movie suck). But I'm open to the third being better than the second, and hope that it's as good as the first, but am not holding my breathe. It seems to me there was no need at all for any sequels. The first was a good, well-intensioned movie. The sequels just seem to be the variety that show the producers are just trying to drain the market of money. People.don't like those kinds of sequels generally (their high hopes and mempry of the original are.what keep them going back for more)

Saw the Hangover III last night. It was much better than the first sequel, but cannot hold a candle to the first one. This one had a bunch of funny moments strewn together, and a much tighter storyline than we'd previously seen.

    Worth a watch, 7/10.

It's called overkill..... Read the reviews for part 3 then tell me if you didn't laugh once after watching it. That's what most of the reviews say..... That theres not a single funny moment. That's called critics acting like douches. You can say its not that good without being over-dramatic like most of these asshats did. The reviews suggest you're watching Fucking Gigli or some other pure shit movie.

Most sequels yes are indeed just for cash, but c'mon it ain't THAT bad... In fact I kinda liked it. And yes part 1 is the best.

Was pretty disappointed in that one. I liked the first and last stories. The rest were kinda dumb.

Havent seen the second one yet.

ya ... that's what i was referring to in the other movies thread ... add the need to get into spock being emotionless and bones having only one purpose and the result is so underwhelming ...

On Sunday, I watched Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. It helped wash the bad taste out of my mouth from Into Darkness.

Iron Man III. I thought it was great. :P A lot of famous faces in it, including two of the best actors out there: Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce.
