Yeah, just got back from Helsinki and Tallin yesterday. Feels like ages since I was on here. I'm not at work today - back in tomorrrow. I've got that interview in the morning though. Still, just gonna chill today and watch the two world cup games.
My next trip abroad is gonna be.......Dublin!! Yeah!! :D

Yeah, I may need reminding. It's 10am. I keep forgetting everything these days. I won't forget to watch and tape VH1 storytellers on Saturday though.
Finland was great as always. It just went by too quick. I spent most of my time in Tallin, Estonia. The weather was really hot except for one day in Tallin when it pissed down. I left the hotel skylight open in the morning as it was sunny out and when I returned at about 3am the floor was flooded. I then pulled the cord to raise the skylight but pulled the wrong one and a wave of water came down all over the bed and the floor. Not the sort of thing you need to experience at 3am pissed out of your gourd. Anyway, apart from that it was cool. I ran out of steam a bit after 5 days of continuous drinking and so stayed dry on Sunday during the England game. I'm gonna probably go back in October or November.

I was sitting here this morning on the computer and kept hearing a rustling sound from behind me. I thought there was a carrier bag in the cupboard falling down or something. I then suspected a rat!! Not that my flat has ever had anything like that in it before. The noise kept on occuring every couple of minutes and was doing my head in. I then traced it to a poster map of the world on the wall behind me and so figured that the sellotape was coming off the wall and that was what was making the noise. But no!! Lo, there was a fucking spider moving around underneath the poster!!  Arrrrgghhh!! God It made my fucking skin crawl!! I don't like spiders! I then had to squash the bastard under the poster and so I've now got splattered spider on my wall! Thank god there's a poster there to hide the mess!! And the day has barely begun!!

One week-end when I was alone at home (hubby & daughter visiting grandparents), There was this HUUUUGE spider on the bedroom floor (just waiting with its beady eyes checking things out!). I completely froze for a few minutes (thank god it didn't move), finally went downstairs and got a BIG bowl (not just your regular jam jar) and somehow managed to toss the bowl over the spider. This was on the Friday night. Hubby came back on the Sunday evening, the spider still under the bowl in the bedroom which had it's door shut. I hadn't been in the bedroom for the whole week-end, slept downstairs and prefered to do laundry to have clean clothes so I didn't have to go in the room and get anything.

That is how freaked of spiders I am :eek::eek:

Noah should have let them drown and not got them on his ark!

Is that THE storytellers??? Is it on Saturday?

OH shuddup with the spider stories - I was talking to my sisters boyfriend about them last night, he spend most of his life in Oz, and I'm never going to that country. There's a BIRD EATING SPIDER in Brazil - can ya imagine the size of that? Spiders shouldn't be that fucking big.
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable

I'll never ever ever go there - never. A friend of mine was telling me about how she'd have to check her clothes before she'd put them on for spiders that can kill ya - that's just not on.

But is Pearl Jam on OUR storytellers this saturday?

Yeah, you could be right. To be honest, I hardly ever watch VH1 so I don't know how it works. Is there one for the U.S and one for us?

I'm not sure if it is or not. Their schedule doesn't show anything

    http://www.mtv.co.uk/vh1/schedules/index.jhtml?date=01/07/2006&channelId=19&channelName=null

I double checked that today's schedule was correct (to make sure I had the right one!).

It is on in the US at 10pm EDT (they're about 6 hours behind, I think?) but there's nothing mentioned later that night... so... your guess is as good as mine!

Not very helpful, is it? :(

Here's the link to the US VH1 site with PJ http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/storytellers/series.jhtml

Yep, I'm pretty sure there is - we have the European one... or maybe there's even a UK one. But I remember all this talk when they were recording the storytellers - people wondering when we'll get to see it THIS side of the pond. So I'm not too sure :o
