    I hate to say it but.... grow a pair and ask....its only coffee and if it doesnt work out its not like you have attacked her in public! you know her, you have chatted before, worst case scenario theres no spark.

    I have a friend who married her best friends ex..... we all thought it was weird at first but then realised they were destined to be together! Now its all good! the weirdness always goes away when you see two people together who are supposed to be together :)

    At the end of the day.....if you want to be with someone you need to get out there and meet people. If it doesnt work out with this girl consider it practice for the next one.....

    I agree and same (didn't read whole thread). Saying 'do you want to have coffee' is a nice non-scary way to get together, that's not really a 'date'. Then depending on how it goes you take it from there.

    I still haven't asked. It's not just the brother. I just feel like I am not good enough. She'd most likely prefer the tanned muscles type over a skinny pale guy with no biceps like me.

    Thoughts, (can I call you thoughts?), I have asked girls out before, I have even mulled over it on here like you and it can be nerve racking. If she says no, life goes on. You live another day. Girls like confidence. Get in there and do your thing... Come couple of weeks/month, you will not regret it. I guarantee it...
