Godfather.
I saw that. When I first read the headline I thought it meant that the case was closed but I see that FL law allows prosecutors to file charges without going through the grand jury unless it's a 1st-degree murder charge and the prosecutor who took over the case has a tendency to do just that so she can still bring charges if she finds enough evidence to warrant a trial.0 -

the Kaos article said she is a hard ass...nosed prosecutor so it will be interesting to see how this works out.

Zimmerman is asking for money:

It's his right to ask for money if he's innocent of all wrongdoing (edit: or hell no matter what it's his right), but I'd suggest it's probably not in his best interest to put up a picture of "Long Live Zimmerman" spraypainted on the Black Cultural Center at Ohio State University.0

What a shitty looking website. He seems to have a very high opinion of himself. Not surprising. This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

You're right, he can ask for whatever he wants. And it has made me think even more whats got to be going on in someones head, even if Treyvon attacked Zimmerman, to shot to kill someone.

I would assume he is referring to the way the media has created a witch hunt for him and accused him of saying and doing things he didn't say or do--such as the edited call on NBC and the accusations of a racial slur that turned out to be a complaint about the weather.0 -

I hope you're right, but that's not how I read it. Its an awfully stupid quote to put on your website after killing an unarmed teenager. Even if that's not his intentions, he is asking for trouble.Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0 -
The Trayvon supporters just need to follow their own logic and this case will be closed in a day or two ... drop the "white" part from Zimmerman's description and my fellow W.M.A.'s will take care of the rest.

Yeah? That's not how I read it at all. The quote doesn't have anything to do with a witch hunt. I think it means what it seems like it means - That he thinks he was a man doing something rather than nothing, and that by doing so he's a good man instead of all us apathetic folks who don't troll our neighborhoods with our fingers on a trigger. The quote is also a clear sign that he doesn't even feel bad or sorry about having killed an unarmed kid... Most decent people would feel really bad about it, even if the kid was aggressive. Not post a website declaring himself righteous... for the kid's mother to see. Wtf. Not only that, but this website is just making things worse as far as the racial tension goes, and any idiot would have known that before posting it. This man just doesn't seem to care. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -

George Zimmerman attorneys quit as counsel
Zimmerman's attorneys announced they have stepped down and are no longer representing him
Say they have "lost contact" with Zimmerman and are withdrawing as counsel
Attorneys say they still believe former client is innocent and acted in self-defense
"It's no so much that we are resigning. It's that we cannot continue to represent him until he comes forward," said attorney Craig Sonner.
"He's got to reach out to us," added co-counsel Hal Uhrig.
Zimmerman's former attorneys say their client has not returned their phone calls since Sunday.
"He's not returning my message not returning my texts not returning my emails. He wont' even give me a collect call," Sonner said.
Despite stepping away from Zimmerman as a client, both attorneys say they continue to believe he acted in self-defense. "We frankly believe the correct decision will be to not charge him," Uhrig said.
"Whoever decided to turn it from a war of words into a war of fists does so at their own peril," Uhrig said.
"It would have not been unlawful or even improper for him to follow. You can even follow me home if you want to," Uhrig said.
"The first person that swung, as far as we can tell, was Treyvon Martin … The crime was battery against George Zimmerman."
Uhrig has been engaging in an emotional back-and-forth with the press. In arguing why he believes Zimmerman was justified in using lethal force against Treyvon Martin, he said, "People are saying, how can you shoot an unarmed man? You know what, an unarmed man can kill you if he keeps doing what he's doing," Uhrig said. "I don't care what one investigator thought. They're often wrong."
Going after the press directly, Uhrig said, "If you don't believe this has been crouched in racial terms, you're not watching the same media, the same TV, reading the same blogs ... I'm taking a shot at the press when I say this."
The attorneys say they know of Zimmerman's location and have his personal phone number but have been unable to reach him directly for 48 hours. "George can't go out and buy a Diet Coke. There's a bounty on his head," Uhrig said.
"We've been able to handle the case by phone up this point," Sonner said. "But there were face-t0-face meeting scheduled."
Both attorneys repeatedly refused to reveal Zimmerman's location but insinuated that he is no longer in Florida. "You can stop looking in Florida. look much further away than that," Uhrig said.0 -

He also has a quote on the site that says something along the lines of, "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but they are not entitled to their own facts." Combine that with the other quote and the fact that he's asking for donations for his legal fees and the first quote can easily be seen as suggesting that people who believe he is innocent can fight evil (the media distorting the facts, the Black Panthers putting a bounty on him, etc.) by helping him defend himself.0 -
zimmerman's counsel have quit, and he has been speaking to hannity.
this is where fox news starts to legitimately defend a murderer and try to justify his actions...
