  • Why say you suspect Sabotage when you now say "you don't know". Why come to the conclusion it must be sabotage just because you don't know what caused it?

Are sabotage fucking the forum now too?

  • Thank you Kelly.

I think everyone knows you care.

Some things are not controllable...even by the greatest bands / people.

    Thanks for talking with us.

    Off to bed now!!

    KC,
    What is good?

If the band was to fire you, where can I send my resume? 20 years ago, I used to manage my buddies band when we were in high school. I have mad skills.

So here's my question, in all seriousness, was it ever a consideration after the first day of sales to simply cancel all tickets purchased and start all over? Seems to me that if there was some sabotage involved, then cancelling all the tickets purchased on day 1, would of at least taken the tickets off the guilty parties hands.

You haven't answered one of my questions from early in the thread.

oh and no offence Mr Curtis... are you suggesting to us, the fans, that the 2nd night has never been discussed with you? Are you suggesting that TM sell the 2nd night out and then dictate to the band that they MUST play a 2nd night?

please do not insult our intelligence... the band, the mgt and all staff would have known about a 2nd night so why could that not have been announced before TM released tickets? I know for a fact that webpages can be set to go live at certain times... i.e. a news item on PJ could have been set to go live at 8.55am UK time this morning with info about the 2nd night.

You're evading the most burning questions. Whilst i'm sure everyone appreciates the fact you are here.. please don't skip the most emotive points. :)

let me try again...i can tell I either missed the point of this question or didn't answer it clearly. this is an industry standard, not something specific to the way i do it. there are some cities where i think we might be able to play more than one show, but I don't assume that until after we put the first show up for sale, and we see what the demand is. (there are exceptions to this rule...of course...there are some cities where we know for sure there will be demand for multiple shows so we put them both up at once. but more often i am making the decision in real time.) if the first show sells out and it seems like there is demand for a second show, i will approve for another show to go on sale right after the first one sells out or looks like it is going to.
from now on, we can post on the ten club site right when we approve for another show to be added so that you guys know.

as some sort of way of making up to fans, especially at the manchester shows. would it be possible to put up a secondary barrier so far up the floor, and have a 10club members only standing area at the front.

i don't think this would be very fair. i've been a 10c member for years but i only managed to get a ticket for manchester cause my brothers fiance bought them. so would i be allowed in the section or not?

if they are 10c tickets then they come in pairs, therefore a pair of 10c wristands so you would be included

I'm just going to ask: Why does Tim Bierman still have a job?

His disdain towards the fans has been repeated time and again. I understand he comes under fire here and while it may suck, it's not been without justification. His reactions have been unprofessional and if any of us treated a customer or client the same way he has treated us, we'd be out of a job.

He also showed no responsibility to the customers over the course of this mess. Not even an apology after 30+ hours of zero information... not even an acknowledgment that they had no idea what was wrong but they were sorry for the delay, etc. See, it's not difficult. The fan club should be run by people who respect the fans.

    What?

Come on, you are better then this post.
sure, but i need an official answer at this..one time only in 21 years at my country isnt much,right..?
I think the correct answer to your question is that more countries than Greece need your love! You're doing a great job of spreading it around! Seriously though, the 2006 show is evidence enough that Greece needs another visit. Don't even get me started on Scotland!!

Well if no-one else is gonna say it... regardless of whether or not the 2nd Manchester show was announced I'm delighted it was so thank you for that...

The lack of communication over the presale however was dreadful. I understand there were serious issues going on but you need to understand how important these gigs are to so many people and the fact that they literally put their lives on hold whilst trying to get into them... no communication for what nearly 30 hours was like a slow torture over here.

    Kelly,

I manage a fan base and I know this is a hard job. Hang in there.

I understand why people are angry and I am sure if any band can do something to appease fans it's this one.

If you ever need new blood I would love to help out with a band I love and I love what I do.

    Good luck with this.
  • Hi Kelly. Here's a question and a comment for you. Why all the interest in answering these types of questions with us now? We've had the nighmare for years and recently the PJ20 and Ed solo shows were both a disaster. Nothing was addressed then. What makes this Euro tour ticketing issue more significant than these other two?

Kelly, I know you're going through these as quickly as you can. I'm bumping my question up in case I missed your answer somewhere in here. The forum is moving slowly, so it's possible I've missed your reply.

    Thanks.
