It was nice, in theory, that he did this, but how ironic is that?

see the questions - where are the answers??

No. Still no explanation why nothing was communicated to us for 30+ hours.

he seemed to imply (I could be wrong) that they were working on getting answers the whole time (I envision White House War Room style LOL), and didn't want to inform us of anything when they knew nothing.

But I think I know what you mean, why didn't they just come on and say "hey, we know there's an issue, we don't know what it is yet, but you'll know when we know".

    Very simple. Yet so effective.

I believe, we deserve more than "something".

    Anything.

If they didn't know what happened, say so. If it didn't look like sales would resume at any point that night say so. If you're sorry to have put us all in that position say so. If you regret that things again fell apart say so.

I'm sure we'd all be welcoming of any more contributions from him, though.

  • Thank you for taking time Kelly.
We angry ten clubbers are a loud minority, but we pay our membership-fee and love this band, so eventough only a few questions were answered, it felt really good with an. q&a.
    Shouldnt this happen monthly?
Surely, questions will be far more than answers, but it is nice with some communication.

And I guess it is not possible to guarantee every tenclub member tickets, but a tenclub-only in some centralized city should be within reach., make a forum-app for android:-)

    And please,someone, make a forum-app for android:-)

    Hey Kelly,

Recently I bout tickets for the Roger Waters show and there was a pre-sale and there were absolutely no issues with it and no lag or wait. They gave us an option to sign up and receive a notice the day or day ahead (i can't remember exactly) of time so the fans could knew when they could go ahead and purchase a ticket. I'm not sure what company they go through, but I do recall I didn't have to go through TM or livenation although it could've been a linked up somehow, but there was no hassle at all and all done through his website. Maybe its something to look into unless it was linked to LV or TM.

Please address why it took more than 24 hours for 10C to issue any sort of statement regarding the ticketing issue. This is a huge point.
i am going to say this one more time... we did not know what was happening..we were all working for that 24hrs to find out what was wrong.. and we still don't know.. you know what we know..

    kc,

I might rephrase the question being posed as there seems to be a need on your part to miss the point.

Why was the NO communication at all for 24hrs+?

A statement that says there's a huge problem and we're looking into it and will be aback to you as soon as we have any sort of answer.

In the meantime,we the management, band and all concerned with Pearl Jam have been reading your posts and understand how confused and disappointed you are.

We have nothing to give you right now except to say we are so sorry this is happening and that you, loyal, passionate fans are having to go through this.

Please accept our sincerest apologies. We know this doesnt put everything right but we are truly sorry and as concerned as you.

AS SOON as we have ANY information we will come right here with it asap.

Again, we are looking into this and apologise.

    Yours sincerely.

I think something like this might have help those of us who were utterly in the dark and felt like no-one gave a damn.

    Thanks,

    Tom

I missed Kelly Curtis?!?!!!! I might have asked, "Is it in the cards or not in the 10club cards for Pearl Jam to play the southern United States?" ~

have you thought about doing pre sales the way that dave matthews band and phish do theirs?
with all due respect... phish nor dmb are not big sellers outside the US... where our problems lie today.

ok, after reading 11 pages of this garbage, this is where it ends.

is 10C / pearl jam management SO blind that they don't see how the US ticket sale procedure is broken too? pathetic.

don't know if that deserves a  or

from now on, we can post on the ten club site right when we approve for another show to be added so that you guys know.
Do you find it weird that you says "from now on" and you and tenclub doesn't understand we want this info? That we have to complain like this for you to make the decision "from now on".

is that not pretty weird? That THE FANCLUB doesnt undertand after X years of existance that the fans wan't this info at once.

Where lies the glitch. Between fans and tenclub not giving out info. Or Between you and not giving the tenclub info?

My god. "from now on", obviously great for the future but still a big - "oh sorry, we just haven't cared about you or thought about you wanting information about these kind of things"

My thought exactly. Oh gee... who would have thought that you'd be interested in this information!

Why is he the only member banned for life? yet many other 'fans' have said and done much worse.. Lou is a big supporter of the PJ Community and has even had Ed wear his hat on stage... when the new forum came live perhaps we should have all started on a clean slate? Re-instate this charitable and friendly member and I'll stop moaning ;);)

I also think Kelly is bearing the brunt of our ire... he is not 100% responsible for this, but at least he is manning up.. to a point (the 2nd night question being evaded like a green cheese at a buffet aside)

shared a cab with boston lou in philly '09. straight up awesome guy. i don't know if he was more proud of ed wearing his hat on stage or his then new born ;)
