UPDATED: Message To PJ Fans From CrowdSurge

They can go to hell .... why not let someone who do this for a living do it ( Ticketmaster, Livenation )
and why is it that 10C tix cost more on presale ? and why do I keep paying for 10C membership when I get nothing in return ( presale, hollyday single )
dear 10C / PJ you just lost another paying fool.Burn my eyes and try to blind me
Bury me so they won't find me
Try to suck my power empty
Got no crown of thorns on me0 -

To be safe I just ordered 2 tickets for Stockholm via LiveNation VIP presale, I got section A13 which is way back seats, I really hope the Crowdsurge presale can offer GA tickets, I want to be in the standing crowd in front of the stage.......Everyday................is Pearl Jam Day.
Except Sundays, that's Ed day.

'We' wanted 10C to outsource, 10C outsourced. They did so with an independent ticketing company (thus avoiding the much hated - by 'us' - Ticketmaster). To be fair, they listened and they tried. Unfortunately, there were issues. I must say though (and I've said this in another thread), I have used Crowd Surge for big presales before with no hassles. Crowd Surge are trying to sort things out - hopefully it will work as it should.
I've never had a problem getting tickets with Ticketmaster. The Canada pre-sale with Ticketmaster worked. But instead they go to CrowdSurge who the majority of us have never heard of. Why the hang-ups with Ticketmaster? It works. 10C ticket sales don't!
I can accept there's more demand than there are tickets. I can accept tickets selling out quickly. But I can't accept that Pearl Jam can't organise a ticket sale properly when this is the main benefit (or supposedly) of being in the Ten Club.2000: Manchester

from reading the many posts here it is abundantly clear
one of the main gripes is that there is zero communication.
we have affanbase probably averaging 30-40 year old now, people with jobs/careers, children, responsibilities. yet all the same people who desperately want to see PJ. So they really dont have time to be sitting around for hours on hours refreshing, or waiting for info desperate not to miss out.
How hard could it have been to come on here, and post a note saying were so sorry - we've encountered a problem, we will now sell again tomorrow at the earliest. There were endless rumours floating about the sale happenign last night, and nothing was addressed to stop the frenzy.
The fact that all we got was a copied and pasted message released by a third party just doesnt really do it.
Im not gonna slam the tenclub like many have, but they make these beds so they have to lie in them. Its all very well and good taking the stance on radio shows of the likes of 'you start your own band and fan club'.....but lets be honest thats really not the point. It doesnt seem many other acts have such hideous problems time after time.
I made the point before Take That sold out 750,000 tickets in little under an hour. Go figure.
Im delighted to have got my tickets, but certainly understand the frustrations being voiced by so many. Sure rock concerts are not life and death, but they are obviously very important to many people here, hence them posting on this forum so to belittle them really isnt necessary also.0 -

I didn't even get to the cart. I first logged onto the crowdsurge site at exactly 17:00GMT. I only actually could access the site at 17:11. Then all I got for over 2 hours was the queue message, followed by crash (server timeout) pressed refresh 50 billion times - queue-crash-queue-crash. I didn't even get as far as the empty cart.
Look, we've gotta trust them to make amends. It was probably two of the most infuriating hours of my life, but its not the mistakes - everyone makes them - its how you fix things. Although, I do agree that the communication has been appalling but I'm keeping my ire at bay until we see what transpires.

That's it exactly, if someone could just let us know what's happening/keep the communication going that would be greatly appreciated. I understand there's going to be traffic issues with ticket sales but all we ask for is a little heads up so we don't have to stay logged in all night waiting for an update for fears of trying to get some sleep at the expense of missing pre-sale II.

I haven't read all the pages in these threads but does anyone know how many Ten Club pre-sale tickets (or pair of tickets) there are reserved for each concert? Is there a chance that Ten Club members won't get tickets through the Ten Club pre-sale? I really hope that we can buy TenClub pre-sale tickets tonight before (Stockholm's) public onSale tomorrow morning).Stockholm - 07/07/20120 -

This is what 10C / CS should write as a next update:
"...But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn't I, my dear?
Didn't I, my...tremble for yourself, my man,
You know that you have seen this all before..."

REDROCK and WOLFAMONGWOLVES,I know what you are saying but the lack of anyone from either side coming forward with the slightest hint at what is going on is disgraceful and downright disrespectful to people who have paid out hard earned money just for the right to presale.
FFS there are other sites which have now sold tickets to the same gigs successfully and they still haven't had the decency of an apology! No-one is saying this is on purpose, they just want a bit of communication and a minimum level of respect.0 -

Hi,
I like your positive attitude...But, what would have you posted...If you hadn't got tickets today?...But, yeah maybe the 10c can come up with a better solution...I just can't wait to all the fun once their a U.S. tour...Fun fun fun..
Jeremy
I would be saying the same thing if i missed out on what i wanted.
The lack of communication from both the ten club and crowdsurge on this matter is appalling. They are both running businesses, and when everything went to shit, they both stayed quiet on the public front. That would be great. Hopefully they'll send the e-mails to the European fans first, so that we won't end up without tickets. I really think it would be unfair if US fans would get tickets and European fans wouldn't get any. Pearl Jam has played hundreds of shows in the US over the last 12 years so I really think there could be some restrictions.
Pearl Jam played their last concert in Sweden in 2000 and I haven't seen them a single time (and I've been a fan since 1992 (to young for the Helsinki 1993 show) so I really look forward to the Stockholm concert and I will take the ferry from Finland to Sweden. Please Ten Club, send us the e-mails!Stockholm - 07/07/20120 -

Yay, scored Amsterdam and Berlin. Wasn't that smooth (took me about 15-20 mins to get to the end of the transaction), but I pushed it through. I was nervous as shit, I had to make the payment from the campus, using Internet connection from my mobile. Last time, it was about 9 PM my local time, more acceptable for me. Whatever, I'm very pleased that they allowed to make the payment in my currency, so I want get fucked by my bank on recalculation.
Anyway, see you in Amsterdam and Berlin and good luck for those who haven't got the tickets yet. Major fuck-up by 10C and Crowdsurge yesterday, guess I was lucky.Chorzów 2007, Berlin 2009, Berlin 2010
