So it's 10c to blame for all the fuss really. Thanks, Damien. Can you post this to Euro Tour groups on fb, or shall I?

    Thanks, Damien.
This only proves that it IS 10c's fault and they need to make rearrangements in their business.

I managed to get 2 decent seating tickets on the O2 pre sale, still gonna buy 10c tix should they ever fix the problem.

Late afternoon GMT because everyone at 10C is asleep. I'm glad these clowns don't have an important job or anything. Imagine if these guys were in charge of anything more important than a rock band. Talk about scary!

They can't cope with selling tickets for a 6 date European tour. Imagine if this had been the pre-sale for an East Coast USA tour. I can guarentee they wouldn't be waiting 15/16 hours for an update.
you bet they wouldn't treat US fans that way!

to me that's the biggest failure: not the presale crash (we're used to that  ) but the utter contempt that this complete lack of communication displays!

All info I got (the very little there was), I got from calling crowdsurge.
And although the initial problem was their end, the current delay and lack of resolution and communication is 10c's end as crowdsurge is waiting on them for instructions. Any email to fan club members has to be agreed with 10c, and crowdsurge told me twice (8.30pm, just before it was shut down, and 1am, UK time) that an email was being drafted and soon to go out.
At 1am, they were expecting things to be sorted this morning, but obviously 10c didn't want to inconvenience the US fans by having the sale late at night their end (I helped a US friend get tickets last night so I have no problem with you guys coming). Nevermind it's a European tour and we stayed up late at night ourselves waiting for info!

And before someone from 10c says 'you got yours so shut up': the fact I got lucky and managed to get my own tickets before the thing collapsed doesn't matter because almost all my friends (and if it wasn't for my PJ friends I wouldn't do any touring) are still waiting (and as I'm trying to help some that can't be on the computer all day, I've been waiting too). I've just had to purchase tickets for Manchester through the o2 presale, for my friend that has a low 5 digit 10c number! that's the only show she's doing, and she doesn't want to miss out.. she's been paying 10c fees for 19-odd years, but she's considering letting it lapse since there's seem to be no point.

I agree with you, Sandra. This is bullshit. I got NONE. And Lori said shes give me her spares. I still wanna try for Berlin AND Copenhagen, which she won't go. So we need more tix for friends too.

I got a reply from Crowdsurge, they stated there will be an update on the website and via email by "late afternoon GMT"

I responded to this email by saying it was not sufficient or adequate to respond to a specific query or complaint with a cut-and-paste answer that effectively told us nothing new. I asked them again if they were going to allow those who had tickets in their baskets to complete their transactions.

    I got this back:

    Hello Damien,

Our communication with you is being controlled by the fan club so apologies that we didn't come back sooner, we understand it is frustrating and of course it is also frustrating for us.

The solution that we hope to be able to communicate later will explain how we are not just going to go on with another presale. We cannot guarantee tickets for you however the fan Club have told us the size of allocation we have is large enough that they are comfortable it will service the fan club members.

We are sorry this is still vague and doesn't answer all your questions but please be patient and await the info from the Ten Club later this afternoon.

    ...

    Kind regards,
    This is not right.

Things Ten Club could do for damage control (all easily done via mass email):
-Apologize to fans for poor sale
-Consult with Ticketmaster/LiveNation/O2 and delay public on-sales so fans can try via 10C first still
-Reveal new 10C pre-sale info, including date and time of on-sale. Maybe ticket sale staggering could be a solution as well

It's a shame, because as far as I'm concerned, hooking up with CrowdSurge was a progressive business decision with real promise, showing a concern for the customers that Ten Club rarely provides. Any good that came of that decision, however, has been undone by the Ten Club's typical Achilles' heel, poor communication.

I don't know why everyone is worried about the pre-sale start time in relation to the public sale. The 10c still gets the same allotment of tickets so whether the 10c happens before or after the public sale, there will still be the same amount of tickets available.

Don't get me wrong, this all really sucks, I'm just saying that if the public sale happens, there's no worry about the fan club tickets.

Well this pretty much confirms what I've been thinking about 10C today. Is anyone reads this and thinks 10C has the best interests for its fans is incredibly naive.

Because usually if you don't get 10C tickets, you've got the public sale to fall back on. But if the public sale has already taken place before the 10C sale, you're screwed.

I'm just stunned that sales have happened today. The o2 pre-sale for Manchester and the ones for Oslo & Stockholm should have been postponed. Didn't the general sales for Alpine and Canada get put back because of the 10C sale screwup? So why could that not happen for Europe?

I totally get what everyone is saying counter to my point. And I also would agree if they didn't already say that there is more than enough for the fan club's demands. I'm sure what ever doesn't get sold by the club will be dropped back into the public pool.

Of course, what they've told us is not always accurate...or even truthful.

Also, I tried logging in on CrowdSurge and my "Email and/or Password are not correct"...did they reset the sale? my password I had yesterday is not working today. :?

This, 'I got tickets for 4 shows, but I'm sad', does not wash with me, stop clogging up the forum, its not supportive, you're sorted! I feel so angry, frustrated, let down and betrayed. Please atop selling tickets, people are putting them on eBay and its a real kicker, feel like I'm having my nose rubbed in it. COME ON 10C AND ALL INVOLVED YOU CAN PULL THIS OUT OF THE BAG, MAKE A NICE ANNOUNCEMENT THIS PM!.............p  lease

    Indeed.

After missing out on being eligible to access the 10C pre-sale by a few hours, despite the fact I'd been trying to renew daily since the 19th November (but the system wouldn't let me) I felt a real pang of pain every time Pearl Jam popped up on my iPod (1 in every 6 songs). Now that I've got 2 standing tickets in the O2 pre-sale for Manchester, the pain has gone. I let 10C know my feelings after learning I may miss out, and again this lunchtime when I learned I wouldn't. The contents of each e-mail make me look bi-polar to say the least.

I hear you. And you're right. I'm totally annoyed with all this but my membership isn't up til June. By that time all this will be forgotten. And that's the problem. 10C can easily brush the problems away because we don't do anything about it.

Of course I'll be happy when I get tickets but I might not forgive 10C for a while.
