    :roll: There was a guy outside ACL yelling at us through a bullhorn that we were all going to hell cause we were listening to rock music and following their beliefs.     What is the point of protesting these things? If you like it go, if you don't like it, then don't go, but trying to push an opinion on people because they like a rock band's music is rediculous. As long as people don't act on their beliefs in a harmful manner towards others then there shouldn't be an issue. Sorry, a bit of a rant there, but to protest a rock band because they can utilize their voice.... Please :roll: We all are entitled to our own opinions, and as long as actions aren't acted out negatively to hurt others, then there is no problem.

    So it looks like one of my exams might fall on the day after the Boston Foo Fighters show on 11/16. I have two GA tickets to the show. So, if someone wants to go to the show I would sell them the tickets for face value plus priority mail shipping. Not 100% yet, but shoot me a PM and I should have a definite answer in a few weeks.

    One of the radio stations here in CT, 104.1, is having a give away for tickets for either the Boston show or New York one. I got an email saying I'm close to winning and have to go on Saturday to a place in East Hartford to be there and see if I win them. That's fine by me except for one problem: I have to be 21 to go in the place. Now I have to find someone who would want to go and go in the place for me.

    I was just thinking.....they better put out a damn dvd of this tour.

    Also, and pardon me if it's been said already, but they are going to be on Conan tonight
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    Hi, this is Fisch, your morning show host on Radio 104.1! Congrats on qualifying for our 'Choose Your Foo's Contest'...you could be going to see The Foo Fighters in Boston or New York!!!!

    Here's what you need to do for a chance at winning those tickets. You HAVE to be at Sunset Jacks, 125 Riverside Drive in East Hartford this Saturday night (9/10/11) at 8pm to check in. The ticket giveaways begin at 9pm sharp, and Radio 104.1 is giving away tickets to see the Foo Fighters every 15 minutes! If you're chosen, you'll be able to pick what city you want to see the Foo Fighters in...Boston or New York!

    A couple rules and frequently asked questions...
    -All qualifiers must be 21 years old to enter Sunset jacks (it's the law)
    -All qualifiers must be present at Sunset Jacks this Saturday night. Yes, you have to be there to win!
    -Can I bring some friends with me? YES, you can being as many people as you want with you...and we'll even qualify them to win too!!!
    -What time does this start? The live broadcast starts at 8pm, and the Foo Fighters ticket giveaways will start at 9pm sharp, with the first pair given away at 9:15pm...and then another pair every 15 minutes, until 10:45pm.
    -Can I send a friend or relative in my place if I'm not 21, or if I cannot be there? YES, you absolutely can!
    -Can people show up that night and register? YES, but people who qualified "on the air" will receive TWO entry blanks.
