    "Sonic Highways" out Nov 10th!

A Monday? I thought albums were always released on Tuesdays?

Shit,I can't believe I never checked this part of the site.Foo talk.Love it!!!

Should be an announcement on Richmond show really soon. Some say it will be a tag along to the Voodoo fest Halloween show.
Anyone going to Voodoo?I got a hotel reserved but I'm trying to hold out until new tour announcement breaks.I would rather see them in a non festival setting.

Great news. Hopefully they'll be releasing a single soon. I'd imagine a huge tour announcement will be coming up too.....hoping for a proper Chicago show this tour. They used Lollapalooza as their Chicago date when they toured for Wasting Light.

Longest album? that would be kinda hard to do unless they do another double album. I think In Your Honor has that record.

8 songs though? kinda disappointed in that but if they are solid songs i can forgive them ;)

I'd bet good money every city used as a recording spot get a very proper show.In fact a Chicago show would be a great one to fly up for.Count me in.

I remember hearing there was a lot of additional demos and Ideas thrown around.I think it was Butch who was talking about it during the DC sessions.Maybe get a b side or 2.

Awesome! I am debating it... but leaning toward the Vinyl+ Tshirt + Flag bundle.

9 different sleeves. Do you think that means that if you dont order a specific sleeve from the website that you get the FOREVER sleeve from other outlets. The UK shop doesnt let you pick a sleeve so its either the FOREVER sleeve or will it be the combined images. I immediately thought of getting the Seattle sleeve but I think I like a lot of the others better. Best album sleeve Ive seen in a long time.

I read somewhere that you can only choose the cover when ordering directly from FF website. I'm sure retailers will have all 9 in stock but once they run out, then they run out. I'm not really a fan of the top 3 because there is so much sky and 'wasted space'. I'm leaning towards DC at the moment, but I'm sure that's going to change. I think the Forever sleeve will be the most common one sold in stores So I want to get one others.

I'm reading the blurb over and over. I get the part that the first press will have the sleeve variations. I live in the UK and it will be about £4 more expensive to order from the US but it would be good to choose the sleeve. If I order from Amazon it is much cheaper but then you get what you get. It does sound like the different sleeves will be everywhere til they run out. I think I might order from Amazon and look around locally when it comes out to get the best sleeve. I do like the Forever sleeve but it seems most likely for any represses.

was hoping the cover art was all nine of the images combined. it looks the best that way.

I pre-ordered the record with the NY cover for a friend's x-mas present. I'll be happy if they play a show in each of those cities. Unless they play NY while I'm in STL for PJ. That would suck.

I will definitely be ordering the LP, but it seems like the other items included in these packages are kind of crappy. A puzzle, wall flag, and mediocre tshirt? I think the foos could have included some much cooler things, especially in a mega box priced at $150

I think the first single will be released on October 17th, which is the day that the HBO series Premiere is. I assume you will hear it first on the episode and then hey will make it available the next day.

Considering playing Russian Roulette with the covers via amazon or my local record store, but there are 2-3 that I like more than the others. Might order a couple cover variations to make shipping costs more affordable.

Yeah, thats now listed on their website. I still think that those mega bundles are a huge ripoff though. Would have been much cooler if they had a unique cover not available anywhere else, another LP of b-sides or a live show, or a DVD, anything! Most adults don't jump at the opportunity to put puzzles together or hang flags up, especially when they are of an album cover (cool as it may be).

Hell, it would have even been cool for them to offer every cover at a discounted rate in the mega bundle.

Seeing these package bundles other bands dish out really makes me appreciate pearl jam even more. The super-deluxe sets contained so much more for the same price.

That being said, it is absolutely genius of the band to make limited covers this way. There are definitely people buying 9 copies of the LP to get each city, etc. They are going to make a killing.
