    damn i leave to go golfing for one freakin' weekend and I miss all the action...plus it looks like the Eagles winning mentality in the offseason has thrown off our usual calendar:

    May, June, and most of July stayed the same, but with this late FA stuff it's changed August into October. If March remained the same we might not be where we are right now. Oh well.

    What do you guys think? If they don't at least get to the SB, they will blow this thing up?

    It has that feel to it, they are all in.... If they can't do it now heads will roll

    I don't know if GB can repeat Aarons hot hand of last year.... But they will be there

    ATL is better, just missing that killer D..... The Saints will be good(lotta RB) I just think your secondary neutralizes them

    Yeah, Moss really went downhill after the Pats lost that superbowl. He has always been a headcase tho. The Birds are better off without a guy like that.

    Week 2, Sunday night will be a great game down in Georgia. Wouldn't be surprised if half the stadium was pulling for #7

    The Northeast defiantly has the more passionate fans. That shit wouldn't fly up here if the shoe was on the other foot

    That's true but Atl dosen't scare me at all, huge diff TB had a great defensive. Atl has weapons on the off but def has the corners to shut down any one now.

    So, is there anyone to shut down TE's? Are there any good LB's? What about shutting down the running game? Sorry, I don't follow football in the offseason that much and I'm skeptical of all the excitement around here.

    the only reason to be skepitcal is because of the QB situation

    I don't know why people are saying the birds are 'all in' either. still have one of the youngest teams in the league. they're set up to be good for a long time.

    also, the moss rumors were just to send a message to the idiot WR that's not in camp. don't sleep on riley cooper as the 4th WR. dude can play

    Yeah, me too. The NFC has some good teams though. I don't think they're a lock for the SB

    doesn't mean they won't be super competitive for the next few years. but all of the moves they've made (going after older players as opposed to their old philosophy of staying under the age of 30), and the way theyv'e structured these contracts certainly tells you they are all in. absolutely. no doubt about it.

    i'm not saying they will make it to the super bowl or that they will win it. i'm merely saying that is the expecation for this team after the moves they have made over the last couple weeks. they still have holes to fill though...but every team has weaknesses.



    also--someone said they are still one of the youngest teams in the league...i don't think that is true anymore. they've just signed 5 significant free agents and all of them, except vince young, are 30 or older (or will be this year). they may actually jump from one of the youngest to top 10 oldest teams in the league in one off season. that is nuts. :o

    they are always conservative with what they say to the media/fans. that's why it's a bit surprising/encouraging to see how open roseman and banner were over the weekend about going all out this year. they're looking at this year the same way they looked at 2004. there is no doubt about it.

    when i say "all in" i'm not meaning they only have one year to win it at all. i'm just saying they are loading up for a run this season because they definitely think they can win it this year. every guy they signed last week, they can cut in the offseason without it having a big affect on their cap. they know what they're doing.

    they also have 12 picks next april.

    all in, this year....hopefully sustained super bowl level competitiveness for the next few years. it's go time fixer.
