Funny thing is that the first vinyls I actually bought were coloured. For me, it's rather special when they are black
Black vinyl is generally thought to sound best. I went back to the second hand shop and bought me the 1964 Bob Dylan Times they are a changin - got them to knock some money off the price, and when I get home I discover it's the rarer and probably better original mono release. So I ended up getting a bargain and I'm happy!

I also just got isolation pods in the mail...I put four under my turntable and four under my sub woofer, What a huge difference they make. The sound really opened up, and my fat dog would have to jump off my shoulders to skip a record now...highly recommended.I ain't got no fly'n shoes..0 -

Kevin - I got you the Police Ghost in the machine, genesis live (50p!) and The Stranglers Greatest Hits 1977-1990 (do you already have that??) I swear I saw some Stranglers in one of your posts, which is why I thought of it, but then I thought afterwards, maybe it was this exact one.
I got me a wicked 40 track Elvis collection double lp, The Marquee 30 legendary years, the marquee collection Vol 4, and Temple of the Dog. Very fucking pleased with that one!!Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection

Black vinyl. I have a purple vinyl back at home which I got from ebay, but I'm not at all pleased with it - so much so that I even wonder if it is a forgery - someone cutting them from a cd or something - the sound level is ridiculously low, and it does weird things to my speakers. So I was well happy to find this one on display. First time I've bumped into a PJ related in the flesh for about 2 years! Good feeling tho
The elvis looks a really good collection, and it's on RCA - I have seen a lot of cheap Elvis on my travels, but this looks a better edition. Won't be able to play them until back from my holidays on Monday thoCancel my subscription to the Ressurection
