Just hit the Pink Floyd jackpot at my local store. Some guy came in and sold his entire discography about 2 hours before I came in. So I got Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here, Meddle, and Atom Heart Mother. I was so excited when I found haha. The store rarely has any Floyd records so it was cool to finally find them.

Visited a new Oxfam charity shop today, got a few nice and cheapos, and one collectible.
I love these two!!
Picked up today:
Soundgarden - Ultramega OK
R.E.M. - Fables of the Reconstruction
Def Leppard - Pyromania
Pretty good! Although I have never got on with def leppard - too heavy to be pop, and too pop to be heavy - they just don't agree with me! REM and Soundgarden however.....
Think I'm going to listen to Borderline now!

Yes, same here, PJ got me into vinyl
I was at a gig last night, saw Low from the States in a tiny venue in Hamburg (it was great!) but refused to buy their vinyls which they offered of course (it was hard though ). This month will be a bit less vinyl for me as I'm going to see more gigs and the money will be spend for LIVE music instead of black circles

Haha, same here The lovely people on these forums made me so curius about the sound of vinyl that I got me a turntable 5 months ago and almost instantly caught "the disease" After having delved into the topic intensely and immensely during the last few months, it's now time to bring the whole thing to a slight stop, sadly, to enlargen my funds for the weekend destination journey. Nevertheless, people around me know that I love vinyl and my colleagues bought me this for my birthday:
I'm loving Interlude with ludes, but I haven't got into the record or the whole project as a whole yet ... But a great addition to my collection
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

That's a great sounding record. 50x better than the cd.
That's also what my record store guy told me "They are better live". Well, I will fork my way into this It should be too hard for me since I love QOTSA
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

and I think there are still more coming over the next few days. good thing im on vacation to listen to all of this. :-)
Went to a record fair today - took out £60 to spend, but was surprisingly restrained - am trying to save some money for my trip to Seattle - don't know if I'll buy records there but there will be no shortage of things to buy!
In the end I only spent £14 - I passed up on a few nice items I might have bought if feeling reckless - Master of Puppets (£16), and Disraeli Gears original pressing (£26).
I still got a few nice items:
Oh Mercy for £5 - first time owning on vinyl, but I love this album
Just playing now and sounds fab.
Also bought a fairly standard Led Zep IV - as a replacement - have been wanting to replace this for a while, and heard Black Dog on the radio this week - been wanting to listen to an unscratched version all week
Also, for £1 I got another mint copy of the only dire straits album I ever play, Communique - this is a fucking great album on vinyl, seriously - if you ever see this going cheap, take a gamble - I'll give you your money back if you don't like it! Guitar sound is out of this world, great songs too

I decided to keep them both. I don't know if you can see it, but the first "Something About Today" EP includes a cover of one of my favorite Jethro Tull songs, "A New Day Yesterday." Once I got the other one, I couldn't send it back, so I just hung on to both of them.
