Wasted Reprise - alot of the versions are either set openers or encore starts, so it's really obvious by the crowd noise that it's an opener, or the song starts during the 'encore break' and Ed starts talking over the instrumental, until the 'Wasted Reprise' track suddenly cuts in mid-note.
3 versions I've found that don't suffer from this
10/05 Toronto - extended intro, noisy crowd
17/05 Chicago - OK, but very slow
18/07 San Francisco - my preference, but All Along the Watchtower is played at this show (Bonus track?)

There seems to be a few other versions that don't 'suffer' from this as well but, having just listened to a bunch of them, I reckon I like Toronto best.

If we all like Toronto, then we have ourselves the makin' of a "Rough Draft" ;)

Is the Bonus Song track order OK? Does it need to be tweaked? I think that "Watchtower" should be are closer.

I don't know yet. I reckon Throw your hatred down makes sense after Masters of war and I believe in miracles was not a closer. All along ... wasn't either though, apparently :? . The last attempt I made at checking the bonus track order before listening to the rough draft was not really convincing :| , so I think I'll pass until I can listen to the rough draft this time .

'suffer' - yeah it was a bit dramatic wasn't it!

San Francisco 16/07 is a good version of Wasted Reprise too.
I'd dismissed it, after suggesting Big Wave from this show, but San Diego was a popular choice for Big wave

    It was indeed !

San Francisco is a good version, much better than the ones I've listened to, apart from Toronto : I like the long intro to the latter, it really gives it a 'moment' that the other versions lack, probably due to how short this song is in the first place. Although, if it proves too long in the rough draft, we can still change it in favor of San Francisco I suppose.

Excellent progress!! Well done. Maybe I should stay away a bit more often! I'm pretty rubbish at this stage anyway - I can only really start to hear things properly once I have the Rough Draft to listen to - and can get a sense how it all works overall. I'm not nearly so up on all the bootlegs as some as you guys either. Good work.

    We're looking at 2006 shows.
I could be mistaken, but I reckon No more wasn't played that year.

Have just been listening to Lifes Wasted - there are some good versions, but the one that stood out the most, and was a bit different (slightly slower tempo etc) was

2006-05-22 Palace Of Auburn Hills, Detroit, MI, USA

Just before it starts Eddie says something like '.....say a little prayer'

Isn't Comatose from this show already ? :(

    Yes.

Cool Life Wasted  However the one in the Rough Draft is great as well.

If different Comatose is needed for Version 1, I sugggest the one from Perth 2006-11-25.
I like the vocals better, they're clearer. But the megaphone in Comatose from Detroit is pretty cool 8-)

I'm not sure the acoustic version delivers that. I need to listen to it again though.

Are you still looking for another Gone? Did you listen to the version from Brisbane 11/11?
I listened to many of them yesterday, cause I like this song a lot. I could listen some more

How does Bonnaroo No More War not make this project??

Because it came 2 years after the 2006 Tour. Please refer to the project parameters:
Here are some parameters that we would like to go by for this project:

-All songs must be from the 2006 Tour.

-None of the Italian Shows will be used for this Project. This is because somebody has already put together an excellent "Avocado" collection that has widely been distributed and the entire album was performed at the Torino show. We want ours to be different so that the listener can experience other versions of these songs. If you would like copies of the Italian shows, then you can find them here: http://dp-rearviewmirror.blogspot.com/s ... %202006%22

-All songs must be from the "Official Bootleg Series" of 2006 (Minus Italy).

-We will add 3-4 bonus songs at the end, which will be covers/B-sides from the 2006 Tour.

-No repeat shows. (i.e. each song must come from a different show)

I've listened to A LOT of them today ! :D I guess just for the sake of it, because I love it too.
I eventually narrowed down the list to Albany, Chicago, Milwaukee, Denver, Los Angeles and Dublin, with Dublin and Albany being my favorite so far.
I like the version we've got too. I'm still undecided as to whether we should go for acoustic or not. I reckon I'll listen to the rough draft and figure it out then. I'll let you know then, thanks for your offer :).

First make sure you have WinRAR (if using Windows) or UnRARx (MAC) so that you can open (extract) the file.

After you download the file from megaupload you need to open the file by clicking on it. Choose "extract" option and give it a pathway (i.e. c:\my documents\itunes\music\)

Open up iTunes and click on file and choose the option "add folder to iTunes"

Find the folder you just extracted and hit open. iTunes will now add this music to your library.

Once you've extracted it from the compressed file it should be in a folder, usually of the same name as the file
You just go onto itunes, click add folder to library, find the folder and select it. It should add the whole folder, containing all the songs.
