Antwerp is stronger, but I reckon the 'stronger vocals needed' issue remains.
The thing with Zagreb is that it's obviously an opener so it has a sort of longish intro. Yet, I find this version is more balanced than Antwerp or the current one and it's also a bit messier. I like it better so far. But I'm still unsure. I need to listen to more versions. Which I can't do just now.

Well, there are many great versions of Gone from that tour and differences are slight in most cases.
Albany is definately a great one
The version from Cincinnati 6/24 is one of my favourites as well. I thought it was similar to the Albany one, but the line 'and the answers far' is sung higher which I like better (is that weird?).

To be honest, I need to mention that the Brisbane version is also the one Mocik suggested earlier on, so it has to be a good one. It just does nothing to me.
Edit : Just realized Marker from Albany had wiggled its way to the track list in the meantime.
Listening to it just now. That's right ! This was my second favorite, after Albany, but it's a bit rushed indeed. Although the build up is brilliant !

Apparently.
Listened to that one and also Antwerp Dazzler suggested.
Antwerp is stronger, but I reckon the 'stronger vocals needed' issue remains.
The thing with Zagreb is that it's obviously an opener so it has a sort of longish intro. Yet, I find this version is more balanced than Antwerp or the current one and it's also a bit messier. I like it better so far. But I'm still unsure. I need to listen to more versions. Which I can't do just now.
Yeah, I enjoyed Zagreb, but agree about the vocals. I haven't heard Antwerp yet, and I have to go to work now - but should be able to do some listening to versions later in the day

Although I'm trying really hard not to keep agreeing with Myra, I have to say that I prefer the Albany 'Gone' as well.

Albany is definately a great one
The version from Cincinnati 6/24 is one of my favourites as well. I thought it was similar to the Albany one, but the line 'and the answers far' is sung higher which I like better (is that weird?).
