And for wasted reprise, you could porbably close your eyes and pick a boot at random...dont think there is a bad version of that tune...it's kinda hard to fuck up song that it less than a minute long... :D:D:D
Is it so wrong to think that love can keep us safe?

Wasted Reprise - alot of the versions are either set openers or encore starts, so it's really obvious by the crowd noise that it's an opener, or the song starts during the 'encore break' and Ed starts talking over the instrumental, until the 'Wasted Reprise' track suddenly cuts in mid-note.
3 versions I've found that don't suffer from this
10/05 Toronto - extended intro, noisy crowd
17/05 Chicago - OK, but very slow
18/07 San Francisco - my preference, but All Along the Watchtower is played at this show (Bonus track?)

Big Wave - love the San Diego debut 07/07, but San Francisco 16/07 is also killer. Tends to be too short after these dates

Marker In The Sand - I personally prefer 02/09 Vitoria, or 11/09 Bercy over the current suggestion.

Severed Hand - any votes for the non-sampled, but live guitar intro? 30/08 Antwerp for example?

Anyone thought of Picture In A Frame - 11/11 Brisbane as a possible bonus track?

So Far this is what we are currently looking at for the Rough Draft of this Project:

Project #9 - "Avocado Live" **Working Track List**

    Track List:

Life Wasted - Melbourne, Australia (November 13, 2006)
World Wide Suicide - Adelaide, Australia (November 22, 2006)
Comatose - Auburn Hills, Michigan (May 22, 2006)
Severed Hand - Boston, Massachusetts (May 25, 2006)
Marker In The Sand - Bern, Switzerland (September 13, 2006)
    Parachutes - Portland, Oregon (July 20, 2006)
Unemployable - San Francisco, California (July 15, 2006)
    Big Wave
    Gone - Sydney, Australia (November 7, 2006)
    Wasted Reprise
Army Reserve - Sydney, Australia (November 8, 2006)
Come Back - Santa Barbara, California (July 13, 2006)
Inside Job - Lisbon, Portugal (September 4, 2006)
Masters of War - Washington DC (May 30, 2006)
    Bonus Song #2
    Bonus Song #3

I need a "Big Wave" and a "Wasted Reprise" plus a couple of tour/album inspired Bonus Songs.

Looks like you guys have made some excellent progress! Great work.

After I left yesterday I was kicking myself that I didn't take the chance to get in a plug for some of my favourite tracks from the one show I attended this tour - Dublin 2006. Amazing versions of Inside Job and Gone in particular - so...... if we get stuck on these versions I will throw these out there as possible substitutes!! ;)

So are we looking for Big Wave, Wasted Reprise, and two bonus songs now? I will see if I get any inspiration for any of the bonus tracks as the day gets underway.

All Along the Watchtower would be a good one - we haven't used that in any project before

I had a bit of a scan of setlists looking for bonus track material. It looks like a lot of the sets this tour were quite album track heavy - with some specific covers and additional songs played according to location etc.

A few of the extras that stood out from the setlists were

    Man of the Hour
    Throw your hatred down
So you wanna be a rock and roll star

Man of the Hour was featured quite a lot - and is a great song! :D

I'm not sure it'd fit the theme, but I believe in miracles was played quite a lot (like 10 times maybe?) during the 2006 tour. I reckon I'm totally biased because that's one of my favorite covers and it also got played in Marseille, but well ... :)

Are we all set with Big Wave and Wasted Reprise or should I give those two a listen ?

Big wave is my snowboarding anthem :D I can totally volunteer to listen to a few different versions of this one, unless we've found it already.

"I Believe in Miracles" is a very interesting idea. I like it. I say we do it, but I have to admit that I am a Ramones freak so I may be a bit biased. 8-)

Definitely "All Along the Watchtower" and "Throw Your Hatred Down" would fit our theme.

"Watchtower" from SF and "Hatred" from ???

I think that "Big Wave" from San Diego is in place currently.

Ok. I'll give Throw .... a few listens and try and come back with a fitting suggestion. And I'll check Dazzler's suggestions too :D

I've listed only four : the two Bridge School with Neil Young are a bit sub-par in SQ IMO. The two left are .... from Sydney and Adelaide. And we got those shows already. Are there any others?

Sydney and Adelaide are our only 2 choices, we may have to change something in our current tracklist to fit a little "Hatred" in.

I remember hearing a lot of great 'World Wide Suicides' from those shows - so if we need to, maybe we could find another version of this

    Yes.
Both Sydney and Adelaide Throw ... are good. I'm currently double-checking on this Gone we have and the other suggestions we got for this track. So maybe if you do the same for WWS, we could end up finding a spot for Throw ... ?
