    yeah surfing across would be quite a trek...I'm thinking more along the lines of a hot air balloon or something to that effect

    Hmm...hot air balloons might be quite pricey...could try an umbrella Mary-Poppins style or some helium balloons. At least then it would be a feat of nature, too.
