I wonder about Nelson though. He comes off as this god fearing, holy, can't do anything wrong guy...but then he has this dark side. He beats himself with his belt, now he...of all people...go to a social gathering and knocks back some whiskey and bangs Nucky's ex.
I wonder if he has a history of these things, but got himself cleaned up and takes a passion in this stuff because he is no longer that person. I mean, he did take down that whiskey pretty easily for someone "who doesn't drink".

i think this has edged dexter out to be the best show on tv right now. just watched this week's episode. it was fucking greatness. can't wait to see what happens on sunday.

did nelson know that was nucky's ex? did he purposely go there because he knew she would be there? i was thinking maybe he thinks that is his absolute last resort to get anymore dirt on nucky and the only way he could get some info out of her is if he had relations with her......and he needed to get a little hammered to cheat on his wife. ? i dunno. just thinking out loud here...

Yeah, I agree. While I love Dexter, I think this show has topped it.

as f@cked up as that scene was it was also kind of funny because his partner had absolutely no idea what was going on. i was expecting to him to scream out "i'm jewish you bastard!"

but yeah, that episode was great. kind of the calm before the storm next week. sucks there's only 1 episode left.

how bout nucky being jimmy's mom's pimp for the commodor back in the day? that is some pretty f@cked up shit.

and it answers the question we had about how old she was when she had him. 13! i was off by 2 years. so she's in her young to mid 30's in this. sounds about right.
