    I know it is early but Papi is done. It was a good run but it is over. Why the hell Lowell wasn't pinch hitting there I don't understand.

    I gave it an entire season and Spring Training. Stick a fork in him. Or get him some more "vitamins."

    As for the Papi talk ... relax ... it's freakin' two games.

    Did you see his numbers from June 1 on from last year? Something like .270 28-80 in the last 4 months last year.

    I think it depends on his contract demands. He thinks he deserves Rivera money which he doesn't. I think Bard is definitely the closer in waiting. He's a hot commodity right now and could also be excellent trade bait.

    I watched Fargo last night to get fired up for this week's series with the Twins. Hopefully Lester can send them to the wood chipper this afternoon!

    ok, the suspended game is back underway, it's the 11th inning and after a Longoria error, the bases are loaded with no outs, TB has brought in a 5th infielder ... and now batting, David Ortiz.

    If he fails here ... things are going to be bleak for him.

    Edit - and he grounds out ... 3-2 ... oooooof.

    Well, bases are still loaded with one out.

    Beltre ... double play .... double oooof.

    Question .... why did they wait until 7 pm eastern to start the suspended game? Should have started it at 5 or so ... today's actual game may not get underway until 9 or so ... seems pretty stupid.

    Look at the bright side ... the Yankees sucked ass through April last year, and won it all.

    I'm not worried about Lester. Nor the offense ... ok, Ortiz, I've officially hit the "WTF" level on. The opposite field double last night was a good start, that's how he started to break out of it last year.

    Anyway ... PATRIOT'S DAY tomorrow.

    Can tell you how much I miss being in Boston for that. Nothing like being in the Cask at 8 am drinking!!!
