    So Metsy, now you have your wish of Jacobs over Murphy...he looked pretty fucking awful and hit cleanup no less, killing a few potential rallies going 0-5....hope he improves or at least gets dropped in the lineup asap..

    A coworker of mine attended the opening day festivities yesterday,

    He told me that there are 2 guys on the team using PJ / Backspacer tunes as they come up to bat .
    One was the new Bey guy, didnt know the other, or the tunes .
    For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

    Not only both teams in NY have a heavy Latin / Hispanic presence ,
    i would even guess alot of mlb as a whole has more Hispanics then ever before.

    shit i'd rather see todd zeile or rico brogna out there then jacobs or murphy. this whole team is god awful. only bright spots have been tejada and mejia.
