Maybe Bay purposely came up with the mild concussion so Francouer could play and increase his trade value.....

VIA MLBTR, the Mets are interested in an overpriced, underperforming pitcher. Go figure.

i'd gladly get rid of perez and castillo for carlos zambrano

both suck and aren't well liked by fans and perez is just taking up a roster spot that could be used for a relief pitcher or bench. hell throw in frenchy too.

so I had complimentary seats tonight in the right field corner and saw Francouer throw a ball into the stands in between innings. The ball hits the little girl in the face and her father is so pissed he throws the ball back on the field. Anyway, a typical teeth-pulling loss for those diehard Met fans.

you just can not pitch to Pujols there. I know Holliday is on deck, but I'd take my chances with him and the bases loaded over Pujols 1st & 3rd. And for the record, this is not a 2nd guess. i said it at the time. As everyone watching the game did too, I'm sure.

Manuel made the rigt call in pitching to king albert

Albert was 2-22 in his last 24 ab's and never faced pedro and holiday just put one in the stands earlier in the game

Mets now need to go out and get lilly or carlos zambrano

Zambrano is a guy that bring fire to the team and a change of scene would be good for him. Least he'd make good for the back pages.

good points, but I respectfully disagree there. Pujols is still Pujols regardless of slumps.

I'd rather pitch to albert with 2 runners on then pitch to holliday with the bases loaded. Not taken anything away from albert but in that part of the game I would wanna limit the runs an oppoent can score. Holliday is putting up mvp type numbers while bay is doing shit. Once again the coupons go the cheap route.

he's great unintentional comedy. I love hearing announcers that fuck names up or just sound generally clueless.

pretty sure kiner had a stroke right?

    Either a stroke or alzhimer

Its silly to drag this old legend from his home in florida to do met games. I grew up with kiner and think he was great but enoughs enough of dragging him back every year for 15-20 games. Let the man live in peace. Keith herendez is another cluless announcer that doesn't belong in the booth. It should be darling and cohen every game.

I think the mets have one of the best TV broadcasts in baseball. There is some real garbage out there. Like the phils guys for example

I love hearing all the old baseball stories from Kiner. At some point they were discussing the last team to lose three 13 inning games in a week and it was the 1950 Pirates. I looked up the games and in each of those games Kiner homered.

its good cause cohen did radio for so many years and darling doesn't give you any bs. They also aren't bias as much as other broadcast say like kay of the yes network. Seattle has got a good broadcast team.

I guess that theory of hitting home runs outta citi field can be put to rest. Davis just hits bombs outta the park like its nothing.

Not as much when they were 3 games above .500. I don't mind, just saying.

You better hope you are getting the Oswalt of the early season and not the Oswalt of his past couple starts.

They are both fucking horrible but I think Chris Davis might be worse, by a hair.

Tommy Manzella is by far the worst everyday player,my fucking god he stinks.
